GT Silver/LWB/RAS. I go back and forth about the LWB seats. And/or do I want the T Interior package with deviated stitching? I decided on the T because this will be my first new Porsche. With the choice between base and T, the options on the T make it a no brainer. My starting point for the base model quickly gets me to the price of the T and that’s forgetting about some of the things you can’t get on the base.

July slot lot with September delivery.
I would think carefully about the LWB seats. Yes, they look cool. But unless you plan on doing nothing but tracking the car, I feel they will be a big mistake for most buyers. Awkward to get in/out, not much padding, fixed back angle, etc. Just MHO, but I would skip them, the 4-ways are great.

100% agree. I did not get a chance to sit in the seat before I ordered the car. I was worried that I'd be missing out the opportunity. However, my local dealer had a GT3 w/ the bucket seat and I sat in it. It was not all that comfortable for my body. I am 32' in the waist, athletically built with a wide shoulder. I felt it was sitting too upright (although I know there's an aftermarket tilt kit you can get) but overall it was a bit stiff for my liking. Definitely getting in and out was a bit of a pain, but I believe this is less of a problem than actual comfort. In the end I think I'm happy I made the right choice going with 4 ways + Carrera T interior package (more unique!)

If you are on the fence, I highly highly recommend you find a dealership w/ a GT3 w/ LWB to try it. Everyone is different, body size is different.

For me the LWB's are a no brainer for this car to keep in the spirit of light weight. I think they are very comfortable, so much so that I traded my original GT4 (with 4 ways) for one with LWB's
LWB, PCCB, RAS for my T build, factory delivery mid September :-)

Appreciate the feedback on the LWBs! I have a local dealer with a GT3 so my plan is to order with the LWBs and then modify to 4-way seats and Carrara T interior package if I don’t find them comfortable.

Wife already gave approval for rear or rear seat delete! (Oh and the whole order as well.)

I have an old friend who needed to get approval from his wife, he called it a 'hall pass'. I never see him anymore...

You may find that retro-fitting of the Carrera T Interior Package may be prohibitively expensive...

I would definitely ask if it's do-able, and if so the likely cost, before you finalise your order.

I wasn’t going to retrofit seats; just change the order before the drop date.

Ah, so you're placing your order before you get to sit in the GT3 with the LWBs. Got you.

May I ask about your build? I'm 5'10" & 128lbs and the LWB's were not at all comfortable to me. You only get front/rear adjustment,s o you can't even adjust the tilt. I would have been hating life if I had ordered them! Everybody should test them first!

6’3” and 175. I’ve sat in the 991 18-way seats and used to have a 1995 M3 with Vaders. My driving position has always been “more upright” but usually the limiting factor is ceiling height.

6'1" 180lbs and i have no issues with them whatsoever, but I agree that everyone should try them first (even though I did not get a chance to try before I committed to them in my last car) ;-)

I am 6’-3” / 215 lbs, and pretty broad in the shoulders. I like the way LWB’s fit me. (I do tend to prefer to sit up straight... in airplanes I rarely recline the seat). For the LWB you have to scootch back in your seat, to get support of your lower back. No slouching for sure. I am very happy, and have several 3-4 hour rides in them. But, if you can find them, try them out.

On the height, i have massive amounts of headroom. But then, LWB are closer to the ground, I think. I have them adjusted all the way down.
