New 911 Carrera T: a completely pointless marketing exercise

Hey, sticky and ka, Have you two considered meeting up for a schweaty naked pillow fight? 3 rounds, 1 minute long each, no ref, you decide who wins amongst yourselves. Loser gets a ball-gag. Winner gets to go medieval on the other one pulp-fiction style? We promise not to tell anyone, but at least that will keep you both distracted for a bit.

Can someone start a value thread or something?

Wow... This thread has become almost as caustic as Flake v. Trump.

Yes, or a demolition derby grudge match where you bang your 991.1 into the 991.2 and vice versa, until only one car is left running, which would finally give the true measure of which one is superior.

But by those standards I could rock up in a 1975 DeVille and kick both your asses.

I'm not going to read through all the banter since yesterday....
I'll just say this. Nobody cares about racing from a roll... Few care about from a stop. You're in the wrong car.
ANY 911 is a novelty. Unless you're getting income from lap times - even then you'd not want a softer, worse braking and worse handling BASE 911... You'd want a cup car > GT3rs > GT3 > C2S are all better options.
Lastly - If you have to revert to aftermarket then there is compensating and justification. You just don't get it and I'm not sure why you chose Porsche as your car of choice since your main focus is on aftermarket performance and racing from a roll (which is ignorant and reckless). You'd be better off with a GTR or something with an RB in it - maybe a boosted LS. All way cheaper and more torque. It's obtuse to justify your superiority with hypothetical mods in a driving style that 99% of us here would never engage in.

So here we can safely say the NA would win. Turbo piping come loose on the #2 cars when hit haha.
I'm thinking we need to find a claymation grudge match animator!

Which is why you and others are doing this in a 991.2 thread about a new car?
THE THREAD IS ABOUT A NEW 911 T NOT 991.1 OWNERS WHO THINK THEIR CARS ARE GT3'S.
The discussion devolved into the typical talking points from 991.1 owners well before someone challenged the nonsense.

The .1's are LIGHTER than the #2 cars.

Plenty of people buy Porsches for performance. Why do you think they make an all wheel drive Turbo or GT3? To be slow?
Only posers in 991.1 cabs won't understand why people put a premium on performance or why Porsche's are respected in the automotive performance community. Those same people won't understand why turbos change the ballgame.
