I see a lawnmower - I didn't realize you guys had grass north of 60.

@2fcknfst We have grass here in Alaska!

Update.

The built engine is on the way from EvoSpec and should arrive by June 21. We plan to pull the car out of hibernation, drain the fuel tank, and rerun the methanol lines for a cleaner install.

I liked the aesthetic appeal of the Eventuri intake despite no noted power gains so I acquired one for the build. I'll also purchase an antigravity battery for additional weight savings.

I read up on a post on the Wavetrac LSD. I did some research, watched the posted videos, and spoke with Sam about the benefits of installing one while the PDK is out. It seemed like a no-brainer. Sam connected me with Bill Rader Motorsports who had one in stock. Once it arrives we will work on the Wavetrac installation while waiting for the block. I planned to install a Guards LSD in my red 996 turbo but ended up selling the car. My buddy reported he's driven cars with and without a Guards LSD and he said it completely changes the driving characteristics of the car, especially at its limits.

There is an event on June 3rd that we hope to attend. It will be a bit of a time crunch. 'Tis the story of my life. Wish us luck!

Thanks for confirming....

I have a Wavetraq in my 996tt and it completely changed the driving dynamics of the car, you will like it.

Very curious to see you up and running! Should make some good power....

Thanks @SamboTT@ByDesign !

Here are some pics of the parts that arrived. Eventuri Intake (bought used so we'll buff and polish out the scratches), the Toyos, and Wavetrac. Getting closer!

Wil is the man. We are working on securing a bunch more of these ready to go. Everything‘s revised and installation should be much simpler. Your motor should show up anytime! Little trickier out in Alaska ha ha but almost there.

@SamboTT@ByDesign Yeah, Bill mentioned that I snagged the last one he had in stock but that he will have more soon. I had a couple of other forum members inquire where I procured the Wavetrac.

I spoke with the shipper and they said they should be calling to deliver the engine either on the 20th or 21st .

Awesome! Yes we will have these in stock I just wanted to give Bill some breathing space and I always love supporting him he’s been amazing and he’s behind pretty much any amazing Porsche transmission stuff! Anyone can feel free to reach out anytime and we are happy to support him and the community on parts like this that are specialized and maybe don’t have the highest profit margin. Before a lot of machining had to be done to get it to work but now he’s got it dialed.
