@Drv Saif Hey buddy, I considered the GT3RS side scoops but in my head, I can't justify the +$1k price. Figured those funds can be allocated to the other set of wheels. Looks amazing on your ride though! Still undecided about the color of the IPD parts. I thought about running bumperless! I may have my buddy chop up the rear bumper to show off the goods!

Update.

My good buddy Ralfy expressed that it would be good to have a dedicated wheel and tire setup for the track. Thus, I have been on the fence about the brand and type of wheels for street use. Typically I go with HRE. In fact, when I had the E63 AMG and the two turbo 996s, all had HREs. The current setup on the 991 are HRE P101s.

I did some research on ANRKY wheels and found they are produced by HRE. They offer some unique wheel designs. I wanted wheels that were forged and sexy. I saw a fellow member selling a set and decided to purchase them. I may have the wheel faces painted champagne and keep the windows polished. Stay tuned for the reveal.

 

Update.

The wheels were delivered last week. ANRKY AN28 21x9.5 front and 21x12.5 rear. The quality and finish are stellar. The tires will be Michelins. I brought them to my buddy's shop and we talked about color schemes for the wheels. I showed him pictures of the car below and he mentioned that the Cerakote color is Aztec gold. I like it. We plan to paint the faces Aztec gold and leave the windows polished. He is going to procure color samples and we will go from there. The Toyo R888rs also came in along with the aero parts. The aero will be sent to paint. I'm thinking either gloss or piano black. Lastly, the injectors returned from flow testing and cleaning. Getting closer...

Update

Sam mentioned some time ago that the Brombacher exhaust we currently have on the car would be restrictive. I was trying to source relatively economical exhausts. Then Sam sent me sound clips of the Kline exhaust this morning and now my wallet is empty . If anyone is interested in a Brombacher exhaust with quad tips for the 991 turbo, it will be for sale.

@WheelsB David, thank you for the prompt shipment and for taking the time to share the correct tire sizes. The ANRKY wheels are amazing. The inspiration for the color scheme was the Techart 992 Targa 4S that Wheels Boutique customized. In the video, the color is champagne. In the Cerakote palate of colors, it is referred to as Aztec gold. Check out their video below.

Update.

The Kline exhaust arrived yesterday. The packaging was superb and the craftsmanship and welds on the exhaust are astounding. We are excited to hear it scream. I'm fairly certain I have the exhaust tips reversed for the picture . Thanks again Sam!
