@akrapovic Thanks!
@Drv Saif Thanks Buddy! Excited to hear progress on your build!
Update.
Now that the car is running, we focused on the aesthetic pieces. The ANRKY wheels were installed along with the aero pieces. The Aztec gold Cerakote faces are subtle but classy. The build is coming together nicely.

Those are some seriously shiny wheels - I take it you do not plan to drive it in the winter...?

I have noted that, when one is north of 60, that the roads during winter tend to eat cars pretty quick.
Nice sounding back ups...

Update.
We took the car to its first event. We struggled with traction (even with Toyo Proxes R88Rs) and are still dialing in the boost controller settings. Additionally, track conditions were not ideal as the track was still damp. Our fastest run was a 9.6-second quarter mile on a 93-octane tune with methanol. My reaction time requires significant improvement. We were flagged by the track officials, who said we could continue running for the day but would need a roll cage and parachute next time. We ordered a Cantrell roll cage and a parachute that we will likely never use. All in the name of safety which is fine by me. We drove the car to the track, had a few passes, and drove home without issue. The car performed flawlessly with the exception of the driver (me).
My opinions and thoughts on the ByDesign XR setup.
The pull in the top end is noticeable compared to the 68mm turbos, although I am certain the 4.0-liter built motor with headwork plays a role. The 68mm turbos seemed to lose steam in the higher RPMs. The 68mm turbos and stage 4 setup with methanol had a more linear feel to the powerband, whereas the ByDesign XR setup pushes you back in your seat once the boost comes on. There is a bit of turbo lag, but it is negligible. The RPMs climb so quickly when the boost comes on that manual shifting on the street is a challenge. Better to let the PDK do its job. The sounds it makes when the boost hits are like a wild animal caught in a trap. My buddy couldn't stop laughing the first time he rode in it. He said it sounds like someone is turning into a werewolf . We are hoping to record better times at the next event if the weather allows.
The car is still a blast to drive, but the power it makes and the other variables when driving on the street (e.g., other drivers, road conditions, etc.) increase the risks. However, there are risks involved whether the car makes 1000+ hp or 300 hp.
The true potential of these vehicles can be exploited on the track. I am a spirited driver but more aware and cautious when taking this vehicle out for a spin.
Overall, I am thankful to have the opportunity to own a vehicle that elicits such a strong emotional response. My thanks go out to Culmination Motorsports for the installation and ongoing support. Thanks to Sam @SamboTT@ByDesign again for all your support and encouragement through the process.

@SamboTT@ByDesign Thanks, buddy! We've only scratched the surface.
We installed the roll cage, but we did not have ample time for the parachute. We contacted the track officials who gave us the green light as long as we had the cage. Unfortunately, we snapped an axle on our first run. We installed some Drive Shaft Shop units and then stored her for the winter
As an update, the Porsche is flawless, even driving in the snow. On days that the weather permits and the roads have been cleared, I take her out to stretch. The looks I get are priceless and the car is a great conversation starter.
I miss our talks, Sam. Hope all is well with you. Appreciate you too! Representing ByDesign here in Alaska. Cheers!

I apologize if I missed it but what caused the motor to go in the first place?

Seems like I'm hitting all the issues ... one-by-one.
Last one is that P want $27k to replace my PDK as they think the output shaft bearings are bad. I can hear a kind of ticking/clicking noice (speed dependent) at lower speeds (1/2/3 gear, higher speed it might be drowning in road noise).
Is that the bearing you are replacing here? Does that mean I can find a non-Porsche mechanic that is willing to replace the bearing for less $?
They are quoting $18k+ for the PDK + $6k+ for the labor. Both seems high for defective bearing. Not seen anybody else have had this issue (68k miles 2014 991.1 Turbo S). Any help/suggestion much appriciated.
