Unrelated to my thread except for the fact I had a 997.2 Turbo S prior and always wondered the performance difference of it vs. the 991.2 Turbo S. I know the 992 TTS is yet another metric better, but check out this comparison with the Stig doing laps in both!!

Great information Andrew. I tried a similar query on ChatGPT 3.5 with no success. Are you using GPT 4.0 or another tool?
I’d also be interested in seeing lap times between 991.2 non-s versus S as well. Versus GT3 would also be interesting…

I'm completely happy with my 991.2 TTS and know that the comparison with the 992 is very minimal... In reality, it would be all up to the Drivers , Tires, and how far each driver is willing to push it given their comfort level with losing a $200K + vehicle.
The comparisons are fun to watch but really would never apply unless you had "control" factors in place.
I've always said, Give me and whomever the Same Car, on the Same Tires, and tell us all we do NOT have to pay for the car if we crash it, and THEN you'll figure out who the "Best" Driver is.... But this video proved that even the better driver can not overcome more modern tech.

I agree with that assessment, my car is pretty much stock and I have zero problems getting away from pretty much everything on the road.
Bigger is not necessarily better.

Put a brand new battery in my Turbo S today. Registered it with the car with my iCarsoft CR Pro. Worked perfectly!!
For those that don't know. When a battery is getting weak, the "auto start / stop" will be disabled with an "A" with a line drawn through it on the dash.
Once I changed the battery, the car cranked and ran fine but the Auto Start / Stop was still disabled.
Once I registered the battery to the car, and the % was set back to 100 for aging, the Auto Start / Stop started working perfectly..
For the record, I DON'T use the auto stop/start but I DO use "normal" mode to warm the car up before moving to Sport / Sport + since it allows the car to heat up quicker and to a high temperature than Sport / Sport+ does. Sometimes I'll forget to turn OFF the auto start / stop and found out about the low battery disabling feature by accident. Good to know for anyone wanting to know if their battery is getting weak.
