The 7 year old battery in my Turbo is still going strong because I put my CTEK Battery Maintainer on it anytime it is going to sit in the garage 3 days or longer.

Got me a set of QuickJacks finally for easier wheels swaps, maint., etc.
7000TL version so I can lift her Cayenne S. Not sure I should try to lift the Mega Cab Diesel though. lol
Stuck them on the wall with their little storage hooks but not put together yet to test them. Need to get that done soon.

Very cool! I decided against trying to lift any of the trucks; although they are well engineered, going to within a few percent of capacity seemed a little spooky.

Agreed! Don't think it's worth the risk. Not really needed anyway. I'll just have my local tire shop to rotations and such. I don't need it lifted to do oil / filter changes.

The biggest thing I lifted was the M5. I could not run the jacks longitudinal, I had to run them laterally across.... Let's just say I won't do it again, even though the car only weighs 4300lbs

Hmmm.. Do you have the 5000 or 7000 set?

7k, but I wasn't to comfy with load distribution running them across the car, versus lengthwise... Seemed they could fall forward or backwards much easier.

Well, ya'll know me and how I seem to like to shoot video of everything. I watched a bunch of QuickJack vids on YouTube prior to purchase and set up, but didn't see one that really went into step by step detail of the instructions and set up.

So, here it is. Crudely done with lots of boring talking and mumbling but it's here, none the less. lol

Good job. I noticed you had the Honda on car dolly’s? How do you like them? Is it easy to move the car to precisely where you want it? I’m thinking about getting a set for the Boxster and/or the 911.

They're Great actually!! I won't call it "easy" to move the car but as a heavier guy, it's not much of a problem. I use a rag and pull from the wheels only.
Pushing on the body panels is too risky for causing dents / damage. Once you get it rolling, it goes quite well. I guess it would be even better on a nice smooth floor compared to the raw concrete in my basement.
The weight of the vehicle you're moving is a factor as well. I noticed my 911 was a good bit harder to move the rear end due to the extra weight back there but not impossible.
The vehicle is easy to place but you have to be careful obviously when doing by yourself. Move the front and then the rear or either one first.

I think mine are the 4520 set with dual rollers for the tires. They're low enough for every vehicle we have. I've NOT tried the Cayenne on them yet though but don't need to, as it has it's own spot in the upper garage.
Only reason to have them for us, is so I can fit 3 vehicles downstairs.

Pics of unboxing and prior to castor install.

Believe or not, I FOUND that rack that holds all four at a church that was sold and being torn down. The person tending to the church told me I could have it. Looked dusty and like it had never been used. No clue why it was there among all the other junk.

It has castors and rolls around as well. Saved me $100.00 since I didn't order it to start with. Crazy how some things work out.
