I'm a really big fan of that direct injected 6.2, and with a six speed and lighter chassis, must be fantastic to drive.
Looking good!

Well, no... I sold it last night. lol
I ended up finding out the car was going to need more over time (a few things now) than I was willing to invest in it at that mileage, so I moved it on down the road.
I will miss that car though, as I was very impressed with it and will hopefully have one again, just a nicer one with less mileage that doesn't need the work done.

Yes, this car / platform is very impressive for the money. There would be no gettin away from one of these and / or especially the ZL1 6th gen. With someone who can drive.
I can see why some Porsche (or other nicer brands) people sell and go for these!! I’f I ever scale back, I’d totally be happy with just this for my modern “fast” Mountain/ Track car.
Wow! Thanks brother!!
I really do still want another, but like said, the SS1LE Will likely satisfy my V8 pushrod “fix” for now. That more “Raw” feeling of the C5Z was addicting though!!
So many cars, so little time and money… lol

It is interesting that the 6.2, with a whole whack of chassis tuning is so good in the RST; I have not driven one of the latest Camaros with the six speed, but drove the last one with the auto in it - it dangled pretty good. My only beef with it was where my arm ended up on the window sill with the window open - a little high for my liking.
What do you think of the outward visibility?

I see no issue at all with visibility to be honest. I’m a mirror guy and know how to set them unlike a lot of folks. Well…. One little one but it’s because I’m tallish and the windshield is so low. When you pull up to a traffic light, you can’t pull too far if you’re the front car because it can be very difficult to see the red and green light unless you basically lean forward to get a view out the windshield. That’s about the only visibility issue that there but not a big deal to me either way.

Tallish here too.
Found the same problem with pulling up to lights in a Audi TT - couldn't see a bloody thing.

Trying to still break this thing in so we did a 200+ mile drive yesterday evening and went by Burt's Pumpkin Farm....
So I'm staying in 4th gear, driving one-handed, holding the phone, and trying to NOT slide the pumpkins we bought around the back...lol. I was unsuccessful, as you can hear them slide around the Jessika telling me..
This thing handles amazingly I'll say... I'd put it on par with my Turbo S actually.

That's awesome; I just got back yesterday from a Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alberta run!

I really like the 80mph limits in Montana.
I was fueling up in Blackfoot and a state trooper was fueling up beside me, driving a Charger that sounded 'enhanced'.
He told me they don't even stop people for going ten mph over on the highway.... 90mph... makes me feel like Canada is in the dark ages.

Yeah, we don't stop folks for 10 over either. State law give drivers 10 over without fear of citation (With the exception of the State Patrol, since revenue goes to whatever jurisdiction they stop that veh. in).
Keeps speed traps down.
