The extra cost at the dealer and buying the race gas tune w/ switcher device took it past where I thought I’d be $ wise but $1141.00 All in for what I got seems like a bargain.
One question I need to ask them is, does the “Sport Response” button do anything extra after these flashes. I was pressing it anyway last night but no clue if I needed to. I hope not. I’d think they tune over that feature.
You still have to use the Boogie Button with Cobb unless you are in Sport Plus or Individual.

That’s true... not only that, but if you try to launch in Sport vs Sport Plus the launch is vastly different. If you use sport and go into launch control then hit overboost button, the car revs a bit higher, but it bounces between 4,500-5,500 RPM’s vs solid 5,500 RPM launch in Sport Plus.

Ok cool
First off, I always use my "individual" mode, as it's set to Sport Plus power / shifting WITHOUT the aero deploying.
I might need to try just Sport for launch when it's cold out to keep from spinning so much.
So as long as in Sport Plus, NO need to touch / push the sport response button.
Right. Sport Plus in Individual or SP makes the Boogie Button worthless.
on colder days , launch in Sport at 4400ishrpm then after it hooks hit the Boogie Button to increase mid range boost.
The best of all worlds will be the day Cobb or someone locks the boost response in any mode. Then you could choose a 4400 or 5200 launch at the same boost profile. That would be ****.

On the last to runs, I couldn't get traction with a soft roll out then hit. You'll see that shortly. Uploading vid now.
Thanks guys! I hope ya'll don't think I'm making too big a deal out of this. Ya'll know me, I just love sharing the "journey".
There's nothing special about these numbers for sure, however it really is very impressive what these cars are capable of and what these tuners can do.
So, I'd would LOVE to see the race gas tune net me a high 5 in the 60-130 pull. However I think it'll be few and far between that I actually use that tune.
Too expensive to run around on it all the time and have enough fuel available for Long day trips with the proper mix. However, you never know when a "Kill" opportunity will pop up.
Now, Sam or whomever...Does anybody have quickest to date numbers for our cars on Custom tuning from COBB with tune / exhaust only? 60-130 or ET Traps?
I'm sure there is some more out there to be had.
Not the fastest by ANY means for a tune, 100cell cats, Kline, BMC filter and a light weight car by order. 60 to 130 was bone stock NO TUNE to show you how fast you are now. A couple of 1/8th mile passes at some elevation AFTER tuning.
Tune, exhaust, BMC, & “Lighter weight??” = 109-110 mph 1/8’s??
how much weight we talking here? I’m assume you’re not as heavy as me, plus what weight did you pull from the car?

I ordered the TTS lightweight. So with a Full tank of fuel it scales 3575 lbs without a driver. Exhaust, rims , battery and GT3RS rear seat kit dropped it down to 3490ish with a full tank. Add 200 so 3690 race weight with a full tank on race scales. A typical TTS full tank is 3625 no driver.
Good bang for the buck. We end up updating a lot of cars inhouse with the Porsche PIWIS and then tuning them, even 996s and 997s too.
Seems like good bang for the buck. You can try your GIAC race map with Unleaded VP Octanium (Green Cans). 2 bottles to a full tank or 1 bottle to half tank. It is available at most auto parts stores, that will do the trick.
Also for what it's worth, when doing 1/4 Mile pulls and tires are cold the car will always spin more in Sport since 4000RPM is closer to peak torque. I usually do a short hit to warm up and clean off the tires in sport, then switch to individual with aero off, sport plus and traction off and for 1/4 mile launch the car in sport plus. In the summer with good traction, TC ON/OFF doesn't make much of a difference.
