A keeper for sure - is it stick? I love the wheels and brakes and dare I say it - the clear sides
Thank you Sir, yes, fully built manual CMS gearbox with GT2rs gears and LSD.
I designed the wheels myself, stole the basic design from Porsche, the 2005 GT2 wheel, then had one of the engineers CAD it up, had the centers cut, then fitted them to nine and twelve inch barrels... Very strong, and they run very true. Fitted with Falken rubber.
This week, it'll be going into the shop to have the awd system removed, some fancy adjustable shock mounts installed, and a little more of an aggressive alignment done.
Sam has tuned it, and I absolutely love it. When compared to the 991, it's most certainly a little rougher around the edges, but it is such an engaging driver now, I don't care, it is a forever car.
We were out of town for 2+ months camping in Alaska. We got home last week. I washed the 911 today for the first time in months. She’s still pretty sexy for a 9+ year old car!

Look'n good!
I see that you have the rear spoiler extended and the front spoiler doesn't look like it is extended. Is the rear in "service mode?"
Finally took my 14 Turbo S to the drag strip. First time against the tree for me, as well as first launch control use.
My reaction times sucked but the car did unbelievable!!
Best was 10.6s at 127mph with just a Tubi cat back exhaust and a magical tune from @SamboTT@ByDesign.
From the data logs of IAT, looks like intercoolers are moving to the top of the mods list.
I need more already and it was only my first hit

Awesome! Needing more is a slippery slope my friend........very addictive indeed.
The 991 has not been getting a lot of love from me lately, especially since I removed the AWD system from the 996.... It is truly remarkable how the dynamics and efficiency have changed.
This morning, I took it for a 60 mile loop and ran it on cruise at 62mph (100kmh), and much to my delight, it turned back mileage that was 1.7mpg better than my best run with the AWD system installed.
The engineering in our cars, past or present, is remarkable - they are solid, efficient and give us (or at least me) the feeling of satisfaction, especially when breaking the back end free through two gears....
One day, I'll tear into the 991, and I would hope that being a direct injection motor, with a huge gjly efficient gearbox, I can get better than 30mpg average while cruising.
