Finally cleared enough bench space so that I could disassemble the front cover so that I can take it to the body shop so that they can fix the crease, repaint, and re-PPF it.
Greg2010, did you have to replace all the Porsche and Turbo S lettering on the rear of the car?
That's a good looking car you have there by the way.
Thank you (I need to drive it more often).
The PPF (XPEL) was reapplied to the front bumper (single piece), back of mirrors, and in front/behind the rear wheels that wrapped around the the lower part of the back bumper (the emblems weren't removed). The PPF on the hood and the front fenders were not replaced as it was in really good shape.
I just had mine completely PPF and I replaced only the Turbo S on the rear in black. Total wrap mite be a bit of over kill. But at this level of investment, better safe than sorry.
Funny you should say you need to drive it more. I have only had mine for three weeks and I already have 1500 miles than it did than before.
But that's why I buy them. I get it if someone wants to own a low mileage car. But for me that's just like saving your girlfriend for the next guy.
Lol!!!! Haven't been able to drive it as much as it's been going through a rework cycle on the PPF (the first couple of attempts didn't come out so good) and so I've been driving the Macan Turbo (now Tesla M3P) to the office -- a 10 mile 35-45 mph line of signal lights! That's going to change soon though, so will need to plan some good runs through the canyons soon.

Does your paint shop put the ppf on right after painting, without the parts mounted on the car?
Most shops told me wait 30 days and bring the car. I am replacing and painting the front spoiler lip and the side skirts.
Still want to know what's lurking behind the cover...
Lol. Never fear... was going to respond; needed to sleep though.

Oh. That? That's just another 928 engine rebuild/restoration I'm doing for a client. The basis was a ~30k-mile motor I (almost literally) tripped over last year. It's going to ...
... to replace his 231k-mile motor that needed *everything*. That old one, shown below on my third engine stand, is pictured above all the cleaned plastic parts for the Turbo. I did that yesterday: I like reassembly to be a white glove operation.

I asked about that a couple of weeks ago when I first talked to "my" body shop. My guy said that they have it down to 4 days. I will gather details when I pick it up.
I plan to take the Turbo on my yearly 3k-mile pilgrimage to North Carolina in less than three weeks. So, either the paint gets chipped with no PPF during the trip if I wait a month or three to apply it, or, when the PPF eventually comes off for replacement, I have to re-repaint the cover anyway if my guy was wrong.
<shrug>
I know I either will or may be looking at a re-repaint. So, what the heck, I'll take a chance my guy knows his $h1+. At this point my Turbo's Paint Hymen is ruptured, so I can stop worrying overly about paint.
For future reference, a 991 front apron will fit in a Macan:
Part of me was hoping it was that little 4.8l out of a 918...
Yeah. Nah.
Now, that 231k-mile motor - which, since it needs *everything* - could be just about any displacement you want. And with up to 850-ish rwhp... with some "additional bits."
