Installed DSC this evening in my 991.2 TTS...then went for a short ride and didn't sense much difference (in either comfort or sport mode) in comparison to OEM PASM.

I recall experiencing a significant difference when I installed DSC in my 997.2 C4S...but the 991.2 TTS already has a much better ride quality in comparison to my 997.2.

Maybe others have experienced something better?

Drive over some tracks, manhole covers, etc., it'll be much smoother.

Its definitely less noticeable than the 997 which had ride "issues" which got much better with the 991. But for me the difference was still very noticeable in my TT especially driving on LA freeways where the OEM PASM was jittery and bouncy. Plus rough roads etc. Handle the irregularities etc., much better. Now I also got HRE's installed at the same time - but I dont think the wheels would affect that difference. When i got it back and drove up the 405, I was like - wow - this is so much better.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm a big fan of DSC (especially the ability to change mapping based on your needs). However, just noting that for me the difference between the OEM PASM and DSC on local roadways is not nearly as much of what I experienced on the 997.2 c4s vs my 991.2 TTS. These days, my driving is more on local roads in the South Bay (Los Angeles) which has its challenges with pot holes, man holes, etc... but I have experience navigating. And I tend to stay away from driving on the 405, 10, and 110 freeways as it is a war zone!

For the dsc don’t forget that once you install the suspension can only be changed by the button on the center console, no longer by the dial on the steering wheel.

Looks nice! Wondering why you decided to attach the front license plate (looks better without -- but at least it looks like you attached without drilling through the front cover?

Unfortunately it appears he did have to drill thru the bumper cover.
I have the same plate backer on my car.

Go Alberta:

Or, have a mylar copy made of the plate and stick it on, no drilling then.

Technically? No drilling for this task list. The holes were drilled when I put a plate on it in Zuffenhausen. I didn’t direct the body shop to ’repair’ the existing holes.

Front plate has always been on. It’s required in MA. My wife runs her cars with no front plate. But, for some reason the cops don’t respond positively to a flash of cleavage from me when I get stopped for no front plate.

Their PPF guy will not do PPF on a ‘loose’ bumper. So, it’s getting done next week with the bumper on.

Hard for them to get the traction they need to properly stretch the film without it on the car.
Bumper looks like it turned out really nice!

This is what I assume. 100% of typical installers’ experience is putting PPF on mounted aprons. Doing it on a ‘horse’ is outside of their comfort zone.

Ya I was actually shocked when I found a local company who actually tackled my loose GT2RS side skirts and Turbo aero front lip without it being mounted. They did a great job too! Just hate leaving my car anywhere so I was thrilled.
