Made mine lonely by taking the 996 out to the valley.... While lady friend tried her hand at flying a helicopter.

Those pic's were actually *at* the weekly Audi/Euro meetup at Redrocks... It's definitely involved into more than an Audi meet-up though.

Am thinking about that wheel for the 996, it is very good looking.

I added a steering wheel spacer from the Spacer Shop. This was a game changer for me. I have had this issue of the steering wheel being to far away in many vehicles.
Even more so in the Porsche as a steady foot is key to diving this thing smoothly. After getting the seat adjusted just right. Then I am reaching for the steering wheel.
The only down side is now all of the stocks on the column are 2" farther away from the wheel. But after a couple of days driving I can live with that.

I've never heard of a steering wheel being too far away? Do you have T-Rex arms? lol

Yes just like a T Rex, You know a Very Large Unit and real short spindly arms.lol

No off the shelf Spcershop.com out of Italy.

I would have made one myself but I am not equipped to do internal splines.

You never owned a Porsche with first-generation non-variable-deployment airbags (i.e. ‘90 to ‘98-ish).

The steering wheel needed to be about a mile from your chest so as to ‘save’ an unbelted 175-lbs male while only killing a few small belted-in females.

<sigh> Stupid federal regs.
