Gave the 991 some much needed love today, washed it, reinstalled the dsc sport, took it out in the highway for the first time in ages, and, installed the Rennline phone mount, for a phone that still no longer wirelessly connects to the car.

In hindsight, I should have known the video instructions to be to good, to be true.

Ad per standard operating procedure, I did manage to get the side trim piece off, but now I have an extra clip, (I have no idea where it came from....) and I managed to break the little retaining clip for the front latch....

I should have known better.... videos are always deceiving and suck me right into thinking, 'you can do it!'....

Annnnnnnd, if the above wasn't irritating enough, I have ripped a good chunk of the front spoiler off, just below the bladder....

Awesome day!

Ripping anything off below the bladder sounds dangerous...

Indeed it does, now has me thinking about doing the gt3 touring front clip because it will only be a matter of time before it is destroyed completely.

True... there is now a tiny sliver of rubber between the road and the bladder, so I think its days are numbered.

Oh, ok, ... so you're the one that I saw walking in the mall with the steering wheel in your hand.
