My best friend had a girlfriend as a senior in high school who bought a red Nissan Micra.
I said to her, ' you really should have gotten a blue one'.
'Why?', she said.
I then broke into a graphic descriptive that the blue one, because it was blue, had a lower drag coefficient because blue paint was slipperier.
She was angry (and blonde); she took the red car back to the dealer and demanded a blue one.

Your .2 looks higher than my .1.
I just stuck some fingers into some wheel wells 'round here. Right at the top of the tire and straight into the well so as to "measure" "gap":
- 718T (SPASM) ~1.5 fingers
- 991.1 S (PASM) ~ 2 fingers.
- 991.1 TT (PASM) ~ 2.75 fingers.
Yours looks like it would take 3.5 to 4 fingers.
Curious. FAL was 'down?'
Curious that the 991.1 S sits ~7-10mm lower than the 991.1 TT.
Perhaps PDDC gets a bit more ride height because with the sway bar links "flacid" it can produce/tolerate/need more suspension travel?
Maybe the .2 FAL cars get a bit more default ride height than the .1s?

I was just out with him this weekend, but didn't ask or notice how his fix was holding up. Might at least arrest the splits development (no pun intended? )
I probably have one of the higher mileage 991 Turbos around here... ~63K, and definitely used as intended. Plenty of scuffs on the lower lip areas, but thankfully zero splits.
