Or even be around them for that matter.

I was happy no one was in the shop when I did this, I was most unhappy with myself.

REALLY hate that happened. I've done it too and feel your pain. But it can be fixed.

And the fun didn't stop there; had a winter tyre failure on the 991 this AM, I suppose it was time to get the summers on and the winters out to be refinished and straightened out - three of the outer lips are bent...

At least I'll have fresh winters next season.

Wow, that's ugly! When you do something, you do it right unfortunately. But, it can be fixed.

All wheel drive does not mean off-roading.

I actually shaved the rubber off that stop before I bolted it to the asphalt so it would not come into contact with the front lip - however, you are correct in that this is not the case throughout the city, and those things are evil.

I hate to admit it, but I let one of those bumpers bite my front end ...

Curbs and potholes have made my winters sad and pathetic looking, going out for refinishing tomorrow.

My bumper rash happened last year. I've been holding off repainting and replacing the PPF on the lip waiting on if I did something stupid again. But, I've gotten to the point where I can't stand seeing it any longer. Most people don't even notice because of the low location, but my eyes are drawn to it every time.

You guys are making me feel better about all the car-nicks I keep creating; at least its not just me. So many have occurred just in my own garage (I've had seat removal bite leather too, tool on garage wall falls off etc etc) or when barely moving. I always think that if I could just maintain the same level of alertness at 0 - 5 mph as I have at 100 mph, I could put an end to it.

My worst parking stop story. My buddy had a 1979 Turbo Mustang in 1979. We went to lunch and he backed into the parking place and we heard it scrap,,,,,,,,then smelled gasoline.,.,,…the concrete stop block was anchored with 2 rebar’s and they had not driven them down, flush with the stop.

Tow truck and a new gas tank.

Good thing it didn't ignite.
