Measured my wheel run-out.

LF:
Axial ~0.1 mm
Radial ~0.2 mm
RF:
Axial <0.1 mm
Radial <0.2 mm
LR:
Axial ~0.2 mm
Radial ~0.1 mm
RR:
Axial ~0.2 mm
Radial ~0.4 mm

Right rear took a hit a while back. Not as bad as the one on the last page. Tomorrow, I'll pull a new rear out of its box and measure it for S&Gs, but the old LR needs some work.

Ordered VTG’s this weekend. New rims should be in about the same time. Sometime in August it will be like a whole new car. Man I love this car!

At any rate, a thorough visual inspection was done and @Beezupra spotted the culprit, the hose connecting the y-pipe to the throttle body had become partially loose on the bottom side and was loosened, re-seated, and torqued.

Ultimately, seems like it a relatively easy fix, though some re-assembly is now required!
If it comes off again, install the updated version of that hose. It's a much better design.

Glad you found the culprit. It will happen again, and know that you can access it without having to remove any body panels. Also upgrade to the 2019 version of the throttle boot and it will not pop out again.

Didn't know there was an updated design... Anyone have the part number handy? If not, I'll pull up the PET diagrams.

Yes, of course I realize that... We didn't catch the dislodged boot on initial inspection from the top, so we pulled the bumper to get a better look at the upper intercooler hoses, diverters, etc. Everything looked good, so we started double checking everything and spotted the culprit back up top.

On my 996 Turbo, I would have gone straight to pressurized boost leak testing, but it doesn't seem like there is a good way of doing that on the 991 Turbo without buying a spare set of lower intercooler hoses and cutting them up so I could fit test plugs.

For the 991.1 Turbo, it looks like it is 997-110-647-74, "Distributor Sleeve". About $150 at OE parts discounters...

Different part number for the 991.2 Turbo, which I'm assuming isn't just an upgrade, but a completely different part.

One would think it would be the same part, what does it look like on the 991.2?

Porsche did a substantial update. 2019 is what you want. It's thicker, longer so it fits more firmly and has better clamps. I will try to take a side by side pic next time.

But will the .2 part will fit on the .1 plumbing??

The .2 part is actually less expensive. 991-110-677-71, about $76 discounted, but is not listed as a part that supersedes 997-110-647-74. But I'm all in if it fits...

This is the newer part.
991-110-677-71:

...and the part listed for the 991.1, which did go from a .71 to a .74. 997-110-647-74. I should go see if I can see what rev the one on my car is.

They sure do look interchangeable, but it is odd that Porsche still lists the old part as a current part for 991.1 and hasn't superseded it with the new one. They usually are pretty good about that...

991-110-677-71 Distributor Sleeve, it was $77 at Gaudin. Just installed one on my 991.1. It's a little tighter, slo I had to pull the Y pipe.

And just confirm you installed it on a 991.1?

Yes. I just added that to my post. It's a little tighter, so I ended up just pulling the Y pipe to make it easier. Couldn't figure out a way to squeeze it between the Y pipe & TB without messing up the clamps.
