What did you do to your 991 turbo today?

I've always been intrigued by the idea of making carbon fiber parts so gave it a try and skinned triangles that go by the mirrors in CF. (Excuse the filth, I was doing house work and a lot of dust flew on to the car)
These take a lot of tedious work but all worth it in the end. I think these look the same or better than the ones sold for hundreds! I also did the triangles on the inside, I'll take pictures of those soon. I can't wait to try the inlets.

Speaking of rock chips I use these for rock chips...they are actually magnetic so easily removed for car washing etc...they look okay on my black car and with all the road gravel we have they provide great protection..I also have double film on this lower area...I wish these protectors were larger and with more investigative time I'm sure I could source larger magnets...and fabricate my own profile..I'd prefer if they extended further forward and lower

That's a very clever idea and it looks the part too.

I think I'd get them for the thunder pony increase alone! They remind me of the old 'grip tape' that was on the 930s rear fender - as I recall, they worked well at diverting road crud.

Yea these are taking lots of flying debris already...that would have certainly tattooed the 3m film...which as we all know might save the paint but not without showing a scar

And the fckn crud on the roads here in God's country is unbelievable...and they haven't even started the pipe yet...got a keepsake on the right headlight already...good thing I braved the nay sayers and filmed them

I just moved everything back to Van and didn't even try and keep anything nice up there.

Well .... a fine choice at that (Van) if you can afford it...and the rain (if it's a personal concern)...I envy the fact you can likely drive the P car year round

Yes Sir, winters going on shortly - before I head up to Fort Mac - mind you, we didn't see much down here in terms of snow last year, and it was also fairly dry, I am hoping for a repeat this year.

I hear ya - my previous firm was doing some work with one of the largest oil sands Companies (you can probably guess which one ) - loved those 300 ton trucks (Caterpillars and Komatsu?) - giant tonkas. This was approximately 6 years ago..

Now, the entire trucking component is being automated (slowly...), so if we can ever get the pipeline to the west coast built, we should be in good shape...
