Wow, that thing is ginormous.

I'm guessing you have a big wing coming to finish it off?

BTW, what's your suspension setup? I see a ton of camber in that pic. \m/

Is that the GT2RS rear spoiler and air intakes, minus the wing?

Few pics... and of the code. Problem is, until I change to a COBB AP, I don't have a hand held to check and clear the code to see if it comes back.
It's kind of crazy how one root cause, even a minor one, can cause all kinds of wildly unrelated faults to pop up. Low voltage is notorious for that, or it might actually be a problem.
When I had a coil start to go bad, I had CEL's for half a dozen unrelated systems in the car.

I also can't imagine going without at least a basic Porsche code reader. I have a durametric and a PIWIS clone, but my go-to for a CEL, resetting an airbag light, etc. is one of the Porsche specific handhelds. I've been pretty happy with the Foxwell NT530 (make sure to get it loaded with the Porsche software), about $170. Typical first step with an issue like that is to pull all codes, note them (I usually take picture of the scanner, easier than connecting it to my computer) clear them and see if they come back... A minute or two with the scanner.

I know some others use the icarsoft scanner which is a bit cheaper, probably works great as well, but I can personally vouch that the one above works on my 996 Turbo through my 991 Turbo..

Awesome Paul!! Thanks for the info.

Got a buddy hopefully meeting me when I get off duty to pull / clear the code.

One guy that had a code pop on Sunday also said he went away. Other guy had his code pulled and it was a P0456 - Evaporative emissions system leak detected (very small leak)
Cleared it and it didn't come back yet. Hope I get that lucky.

My bet is once cleared it will be gone. Nothing major. These computers are always comparing operating inputs to “ideal state” within a tolerance. Small changes in things like air density and barometric pressure can trigger a message such as this. Your dealer will probably reset and send you on your way.
You didn’t by any chance fill up with gas prior to getting this message did you?

I hope you're right. I think it may go away too.

My buddy had to head home tonight so he's going to drop by tmrw. evening to clear it for me and see.

Some did but I didn't. I filled prior to leave my city to head to the meeting spot.

I hope it's that simple. I'll keep y'all posted.

Once I switch to Cobb ap, this won't be a problem to have to rely on the dealer or friends to clear / check codes.

Or buy a scanner tool like Paul posted.

Does your Durametric work on a 991.2? The website makes it seem like it only supports up to 991.1

Spage Sport made it for me. They're local to me. Conservatively speaking it should be about 200lbs at 200km/h. We'll get final numbers once the wing and other aero bits are on

Yup, RSR style wing coming in the spring. I'm just lowered on H&R springs but maxed out the oem camber

Close, GT2 RS Deck lid. Comes with everything you mentioned in one, less a wing

It does not, yet, with no time as to when it might.

I have tried plugging my 996 version in, no luck.

Looks great. They did a really nice job. Couple of questions
  • I'm assuming you are still using the stock turbos and headers?
  • How are you dealing with heat control around these areas? I know on the 2RS they have air inlets around the headers
  • Is it Dry Carbon?
  • What are you doing upfront to balance the car?

Looks great.

And doubles as a car seat for unruly children...
