Just got back from the mountains for my "Shakedown" of the new TTS. WOW!!! It truly is amazing how much better of a car this is than my old 997.2 TTS. Totally not discounting how great that was, but wow. SO MUCH more confidence inspiring of a car.
The road looks dry......where are the Dragy numbers ?? Lol.
Had the GF with me yesterday. I'll have to go out one night without her so the weight will just be me and the car.
Nice and cool here now (for now), so it should make good power number.
I need to call GIAC and see which tune (power numbers) this car has on it. Original owner did it at Porsche of Houston.
Cars and Coffee RVA on Saturday! First opportunity to really get a good feel for the DSC module and Europipe Stage 1 (both installed in the last couple weeks). Loving the upgrades!

For what it's worth, I also had my GIAC tune installed by a Porsche dealer (Champion in Ft. Lauderdale) and they advised the GIAC tune installed by Porsche dealers for the 991.2 TTS on pump gas with no other mods is the "standard" Stage 1+. Here is some info from GIAC on that tune:

Using a variation of possible "Race Weights" for a normal sized guy (3700-3800 lbs.) for a 991.2 TTS. Here are the BHP and WHP numbers for his 134.4 MPH.
I've confirmed on MANY occasions that this HP calculator matches very closely to the DynoJet Chassis dyno we used all the time. So it's close.
He's making anywhere from 605-630 WHP on that pass..... Give or take a few. And unless he weighs Way less or a bit Heavier like ME
My race weight on my old 997.2TTS with me and 1/2 tank was like 3825 lbs.
134mph is spot on for a Stage 1 tune. More impressive is the 60ft and ET of that tune. He posted there was a GT2RS at the track on the same night and they matched ET’s.

I'm sure there are other tunes out there that will make more power, but I think it says something when more than a few Porsche dealers are selling that tune to customers and supporting them with intact warranties - I'm not willing to give up my CPO warranty so that matters to *me*.
