u can change fork, add brakes but all the hydraulic lines will kink your style
rim brake is fine
if u must have disc, then crash this one strategically and buy another. it will be a lot cheaper than you flip over ur bar, break collar bone and in the ER
then I have to take time off my bike to go visit you..
sell all the problems ?!

I think this is the thread to ask for bicycle questions right?
Can I convert the front brake to a disk on this thing?.. maybe even by changing the fork? Is it ghetto to just have a disk on front?? I have zero braking power on these hills and I'm going to kill myself if I don't come up with a solution.

but if you understood 50% of these terms, YOU NEED SERIOUS PSYCH HELP NOW!I used to get on bike at 7am. now it's 830am.
I need too wind up all the fkg mechanical pieces and adjust the drift before latte then ride
sometimes I wonder how I get any real work done.

2. Requires new fork
3. Yes, ghetto
4. Front disc with rear rim brake with a quick stop = faceplant = expensive maxillofacial surgery
Rim brakes are effective enough to get World Tour riders down the Dolomites, Pyrenees, etc. at well over 100 kph (and even piker Masters at slightly lesser speeds). As others have suggested, a good pad for your rims and proper adjustment should be more than adequate.

Honestly same, plus I LOVE my Apple Watch. I feel like I have too many hobbies, so adding in another expensive one is a no no.

Unfortunately, I know them all and have cycled through too many! I still have a Sondek/VTL/BEL setup with some altered Audio Artistry’s by Mr Brown (BEL - Brown Electronic Labs; not Canto). Sadly he passed years ago, but that guy had an ear; if you were willing to send a check-in-full and wait for potentially years, you weren’t ever disappointed with the end product. And each item he put out was slightly better than the last. Anyway, one of these days I might have a worth-while room again to setup a system. For now, I’m relegated to a set of beats and a Spotify account . The wail of a flat6 or v10 seem to do more for me these days anyway.
grado signature lab is awesome as well.

You guys are Amazing! I am an audio guy... I have tried stuff too...but for the last 12 years run Bower Wilkinson, and three years ago picked up a pair Of B&W Nautilus, Clear audio table, and Audio note (Ongaku) amp, gold wires, in semi anechoic room. I will post some pics after weekend. You can really hear the difference even my old ears.
