ChrisF has been working on the routes. I just added some comments...
man, the food is great.
the ride, I don't remember much.
it's just different kind of pain.
he noted 250 miles on day 3 and 100 miles on day 6.
I sure hope that's a typo

Are we driving 250 miles ? This sounds doable

I’m in with a caveat that I may be a day late arriving, wifey booked a Whistler weekend preceding this. Time to meet some of the folks on this so very awesome thread. ChrisF I may be down this week to (sadly) arrange sale of the s2k, if I am I’ll be taking it for a few drives before handing it over to its new owner. I guess that means I’ll need to drive something else down the coast on the 2nd!

hf1: PM'd
wru: some very small hills
f4 plt: Big Green Egg Large. Tri tip is my specialty. From room temp, 225F on the egg until 135F internal temp. Rest, cut, serve. Spices are a secret. Ribs: i did 3-2-1 this time with a Carolina rub and sauce mop. 225F for smoke, 250F for oven; 225F for finishing on the Egg before pulling off the platesetter and cooking over direct flame to crisp and finish. They were the best batch I've ever made.
ringzero: PM me if you're around. I head out of town on Saturday afternoon but might be able to get a morning drive in.
All: it was definitely a typo. Day 3 was drive and day 6 too. 4x 50 miles in 6 days is plenty. Besides, I think we all want to break it up.
Meals for Marin may change based on group size as some of the more intimate places can't handle parties of 8-10. Food will still be good. We don't eat crap in this thread

Three Wheelin'
Giving the EVOC bag thumbs up also. The fact that it is collapsible makes having it on the trip easier than a hard case. We have had good luck with bikes so far. Bent discs is the only thing once. SInce then take the discs off and store separately.

SO for those who dont know the area...
I stay in hotels on the peninsula (thats the area between San Francisco and basically San Jose) several times a month. This is tech central. The hotels are ALWAYS booked up. Is usually pay 500/night... for a courtyard marriott in palo alto. And, they sell out, often.
Suggest you book asap and figure out where you will stay. Hotels are not cheap. San Francisco is just as bad and in the city where most of the hotels are you get to be accosted by homeless every time you leave... not a political statement, just a fact :-)
The traffic is pretty epic during the week so just keep that in mind if you’re carting around!
Bummed i can’t make it.
