The PTS approved list is updated & circulated to the dealers
every couple of months. The last one I have seen is dated
4/24/2017.
And if NDA is supposed to mean 'For Internal Use Only -
Confidential ', then indeed it is still that!

are privy to the actual reason that PAG decided to make the
approved PTS list 'Confidential':
That happened halfway through 2015. The last PTS Approved
List I was able to reveal in Rennlist (Pre-Notice) to help keep
informed our readers (many who are present & future Porsche
customers that are considering PTS) was dated 5/12/2015:
Previously the PTS list had no such admonition. I believe I know
the reason why they did it. And so do you. But I would like to
know if YOU have ever heard from someone at PAG, PCNA or
Porsche dealer councils explain why Porsche actually took that
unusual step. Thank you.

Actually I've talked to a couple people internally and they're not quite sure themselves either. Probably only a handful of people know the reason for such change.
The more or so agreed upon reason is basically Porsche is concerned about information dissemination. Porsche is concerned about how people see all these colors available, some feasible some not, and even non feasible ones are listed. What would customer think about a "pink shoe" on the list. The list changes too often and to save people from misunderstanding and miscommunication. Porsche decides to control it themselves.
To be honest the "Internal use only - Confidential" phrase is used in many places within Porsche. A lot of times even completely public information like product overview (horsepower, new options, specifications) even after the car debut. My guess is Porsche wants all the information presented in the way they want when it comes to the public and customers, and not disorganized or in a bulletin.
Why would Porsche announce the .2GT3RS so soon after the .2GT3? Have they done this before? If not and they do present it this September then I suspect the production of both the GT3 and GT3RS will end in the summer of 2018. This may have something to do with EU emission requirements effective August 2018.

2010 GT3 was debut at Geneva Auto Show in 2009 March
2010 GT3 RS was debut at Frankfurt Auto Show in 2009 September.
These are for base and S models. As you know Turbo & Turbo S models back in 997 lapped into facelifts
I know your crystal ball may be hazy that far out, but I'd like to see a big sea change for the 992. Need something other than a clutch pedal to justify substantial outlay for another new 911
