Yup. IIRC, he said he was just selling cars that he wasn't driving/enjoying so he could make space for other cars. Then again, the type of cars in his collection have little relevance to this discussion.

I think the market for the current RS is still strong. RS is a RS, full stop. I think for those who paid MSRP on their RS, you are in good hands for a long time. For those who paid over sticker on the RS, well, you should have known you would have lost the "premium" that you paid to your dealer in the long run.

Sadly, I would agree. I had hope of eventually scoring one of my dealers last two RS's as they languished and the premiums came down. But it was not to be. Honestly, after I spent a little more time in the LWBs, I realized that I couldn't live with those seats anyway, so it all became a moot point.

HK which is massively oversupplied is (and has been) below MSRP for some time. Buyer's market for sure.

Let's just hope they get low enough that people aren't afraid to drive them.

We shall see quickly what the market will command. Someone on here is also posting it on eBay. I bet it doesn't sell as I assume the reserve is too high.

I was high bid on that car...he wants way too much. Reserve is 265k. I think most bidders knew where it was.

If these asking prices were reflective of actual transaction values, there would be less cars on the market just sitting there week after week. The dealer-sellers just haven't come to terms with reality, and have holding power.

Actually, if nobody even bid $30k over, the RS market does seem to be softer than it was before and definitely softer than the 'ask' market. Nobody said it was falling out, just lower than it was. I expect that's the case, save for a few remaining brand new cars.
