Note to CJ:

The future of McLaren looks very bright in the future. LOTS of upside potential there.

Less than $190-195 if you go used.

I'm lucky to have one of my best friend as a used exotic/sports car dealer.
Been lucky enough to drive most exotics and always came back to the Porsche GT cars.
But, nobody will twist my arm and set the terms when I buy cars.
Not worth it. When I spend this kind of money I want it to be a positive experience.

I have the same dealer as Sams. I've been threatening to goto McLaren for a year now and figured out a way to puss out every time I start to pick up the phone. I'm getting much closer....I just love this brand so damn much....
I'd say the same thing as you as I said to sam. Give plano an ultimatum as you been such a great customer, that they need to find you a .2 GT3 at MSRP, or they will lose you forever to a good guy dealership like Park Place. At least you have a local good guy dealership to go to, not everyone has another good in state option.

You and Sam need to punish Plano for trying to become a stealership. Just like Sam, I'm sure you've brought them much more than $25,000 of profit in the past

Wow,

At the prices of those RSs, Mclaren or Ferrari starts to look very inviting....................

An RS is a great car at 190K, but with those crazy RS prices in the 290s, I'd much rather have a Ferrari or Mclaren.

And the best part is that you can order the car exactly how you want it and in the color that you want it in....no PTS mystery games.

Oh yea, The have made their fair share off me and Sam that's for sure. I agree with you and had a horrible experience with them surrounding an RS allocation which is old news so I'll let that lie. This in my mind was their second chance to show me they wanted me as a customer. After this, I am DONE with Porsche Plano. Hope their strategy pans out for them. Though all Auto Nation cares about is moving units and when you're spending High $100's and up on a car you like to feel good about who you're doing business with. I was introduced to Park Place by a friend of mine a few weeks ago so I've at least made the connection. Though I'm waaaaaay low on their list. At least it's a start....And in the near term..McLaren, Here I come!

Sounds like a plan. I would just add that I think it's worth it to actually call the sales manager at Plano and inform him that he's lost you as a customer due to their behavior. They won't change unless they understand the long term money they're losing for short-term gains.

You want to take my GT4 out for a few laps?
Ugh. That is the weekend we are flying out to VA to get our new dog (I know, more excuses. LOL)
See you on 6/2. I might try to stick around for 6/3.
What kind of sorcery did you do to your GT4? I thought we had similar setups? Sure, we can swap cars if you want!

Just because you have no purple RS, you shouldn't be excluded. Protest.
LOL! I'm hoping to join the RS club next round!
