It's actually on the mesh intake cover (look closely at the rear shots). Does anybody else find that a bit weird?

- manual only
- no detuned engine
- 316 km/hour top speed (down from 320 km/hr)
- All black interior (per photos) is standard for no reflections?
- Sports chrono is available (as well as ceramic brakes and other gt3 options)

Lol - I think auto presses got their knuckles rapped for breaking embargo early. Their story has been pulled (link above now broken). An English language site copied most of the details here:

Well nearly at the finish line and this well enthused mystery will be revealed. I think it will feel a bit anticlimax in some respects, but hats off to your thread bardman. Kept it on track and slowly pieced the bits together. Whats your run sheet like now, much left to confirm ?

Good news:

- wing delete w/attractive, unique 911R-like cover
- chrome exterior accents (window trim, headlight washers)
- manual
- not detuned
- LWB available
- unique seat fabric
- no cost option

Bad news:

- no houndstooth / pepita seats
- no backseat option (?)
- no additional special exterior color (?)

Questions:

- what exterior badging (pics have model designation delete)
- all same colors, or limited set?
- what's the seating material exactly? Any choices?
- if you get leather interior (pics don't show it), does it come with same alcantara as regular GT3, or leather instead?
- what do door sills say ("GT3", or "GT3 Touring" or something else)?
- what options are incompatible?

Passing the baton on to those in other time zones - I want to wake up to more leaked details in the morning!

I'm still really trying to understand why everyone is losing their minds for this car. It's a GT3 without a wing, what am I missing? On my GT3.2 it is purposely being built as more of a touring car: manual, no buckets, extra leather and stitching everywhere, lift. It's to be driven around and enjoyed...my RS is for the track. Please help me understand!!!

It's the same place as the 911R badging.

Other little interesting observations:

- Wheel hub cap is an b/w emblem not GT3
- Chrome or aluminium head light washers
- Aluminium trim around windows (as noted previously)
- Has a rear pronounced tail (more so then carreras etc)
- has fine mesh grill rather then stipes.
- has some sort of grill badge noting gt3 touring ?
- Is there an air intake at base of rear window and metal strip. (see side profile pic)
- Chrome exhaust tips (previously noted)
- leather steering wheel
- Shifter **** looks darker then aluminium
- black corduroy seat base
- Same console buttons as 911R (exhaust lift etc)
- lwb seats (non folding ? => no rear seats ?)

Same for me, i have a 2018 slot and will be able to put this Touring Pack on my config, but a manual dosent make sens for an every day car.

manual makes sense for non track, although engaging spiriting driving. Manual doest make any sense for daily commute. (although i think great for non race track participants who like a challenge as well, commuters who don't have much traffic)

No PDK is just a really odd move by Porsche, anyway no rear seats means I can't buy it, the dream is dead

I don't think everyone is losing their minds for this car. It's for people who want a GT3 engine but the looks of a basic 911. Kind of like a poor man's 911R but a better value.

As for the rear badge, I do not believe the photo shows model delete. I think Bardman correctly pointed out there is a small GT3 touring badge on the grill. Hard to see in the photo because of insufficient resolution, but you can make it out if you zoom in.
