I couldn't find any solid info, just people making assumptions. Sorry for the confusion. I'm going to edit my posts a bit so they don't spread false info.

Ok, ok, you got me, I actually found the picture in Australian Evo with the following accompanying letter. Its funny when our internet musings make it into the real world...
Edit - rotated image.
Edit 2 - I got the wrong magazine!

Rennlist is just this... tail wagging the dog. It's really funny actually how much magazines repeat the stuff we make up on this little forum.

Comparing these two photos, i realize how much better it looks with wing!

No wing and cage seems so so wrong

It's just wrong without the wing. If there was no R before it nobody would be asking about a wing delelete ...

As has been said many times in this thread by many of the people who'd order such a car, it does not have to be called a GT3, it just needs the innards of one; people want the best parts in a package that suits their needs and currently they can't get them. I've pretty much given up on the idea, when I change cars it'll be to a Turbo S, not exactly a hardship but when I read/watch the reviews of the R and the GT3 I do get wistful.

As a father of two boys, I wished my R had a backseat. When the 911 Touring is released, I will be getting one for sure!
Currently my 991 Turbo S reigns supreme as the ultimate family car!
