Have to share this ... I filled in an expression of interest today to buy a 2018 991.2 GT3 6 M/T. Whilst this is not an allocation, it is a very well placed position in the queue. I am VERY VERY excited. At the same time, and not having read all these threads, I am wondering ...... is the 991.2 6 MT the LAST N/A GT3???

I do much prefer the manual fore/aft adjustment, as it's much quicker to slide the seat back to get in and out and I can get the seat back to the exact position when I slide forward into my driving position.
I also prefer the manual adjusting for back and forth. Always need the seat as low as possible.

I only can speak for Volkswagen, you have to do a dedicated training before they give you the keys....
BMW, Mercedes all they do the same thing.

At least from my knowledge they do final testing with pre production cars or first batch, selected employees have the chance to drive these ones and report back their findings. This happens after official announcement of the car. That is the reason you see these cars parked in public without any camouflage anymore. Mercedes puts a small sticker "Werkswagen" on them and also dealer can have them for a short period of time.
