Stolen pics from this forum, sorry but lovely rides both. Ive ordered pdls + like on the black but im leaning towards the white car lights! Just love the oldschool look.
The LEDs make the car look much more modern imo.

I think Chousoul had mentioned 30lb total extra weight?

No its not 30lb extra. What I said was 5-7lb heavier per housing, not including difference in weight for the modules in the car. So 12lb is a fairly good estimate.

The $780 PDLS does have the 4 dots, on interior of the housing on the projector. It is a daytime running light, you won't see it at night.

LED have the ring on the exterior border instead of inside where the projectors are. The 4 dots lies on the ring.

I mentioned before already, $0 option is Bi-Xenon headlight in silver without PDLS. The PDLS option makes the interior of the Bi-xenon headlight back, color changes from non-PDLS to PDLS. However, it is not equivalent of the Bi-xenon headlight in black that you see in 991.1 The exterior border is still grey and the projector housing is still chrome.

Black LEDs will have the full black, including exterior border and projector modules.

Is this the more lightweight option and is there four dots in it when lit (a little 918 style?)

The PDLS $780 one will be the lightweight option. If it says LED headlight, then its not the lightweight option. Both LED and Bixenon headlights will have the 4 dots, one is on the projector, one is on the exterior ring.

That is not accurate. Chaos' post is accurate.

Last question: Is PDLS require to get the 4 DRL dots in the center OR do all Xenon lights (including the standard no cost option) have 4 DRL dots in the center.

All, no PDLS is required.

To make it simpler once and for all. ALL GT3 WILL HAVE 4 DOTS, no matter what options you pick on ur car.

Attached advertisement on a back page of a german Porsche magazine. It says 7.29 on the Nordschleife, which is the first official Porsche time for the GT3 991.2.

We all know the time of the new 911 GTS (Pirelli tires) on the Nordschleife which was 7.22 or 7 seconds faster then this time of the GT3 with 50 horsepower more etc ...

Any explanation ?

I had the LEDs on my late .1 gt3, did not like the look, nor did I care about the benefit it had. I prefer the 1 round light look of the Xenons.

Must be that the engines are not broken in, 7.29 is fast considering not revving more than 5000rpm!
