So yesterday it was sunny and 36 degrees in Chicago. Took out my GT4. I was at a stop light and got on her a little bit and lost the back of the car. Rear snapped out about 3 feet but the nannies and correcting the steering saved my rear(literally). The moral of the story is turning off the nannies and mashing the peddle freaking dangerous and reckless. I even said to Myself that this was stupid what I did plus these tires stink below 45 degrees outside and I should know better. After this occurred it reminded of this thread.

Glad the nannies saved you, Jimmy. Honestly, I have only turned mine off once, and that was at normal driving speed just to see if the lights worked lol. Not too proud to say I don't have the skills to drive hard without the nannies. I barely drive well with them!

That is too funny!

OP, I hope you are made whole and the last few posts eased the pain a little bit! Now I'm off to go get that movie!

This story has gone viral. All over different websites and car forums. Don't think a few Facebook reviews will do much.

If I had any pity for this shop before, I sure as hell don't now. What the F*C! were they thinking? Ccpax, I'd love to hear what they did to try to "make it harder for you to figure it out". This has to be classic.

Yup!

The kind of guy that does stuff like this doesn't give a s**t.

He probably figures the OP is being a whiny rich guy, or something millennial like that.

I would say that he is losing sleep at night. He's losing sleep because his joy ride days are over.

The highlight of his joyride days was in an RS which he royally screwed up. I would hope that his actions have an impact on his business as well if customers feel the same way.

I wonder what the neighboring businesses have to say about his shop. I'm sure they're used to cars flying up and down the street way over the speed limit all the time in the past.

Even if he does lose only 50% of his clients I would think the cost to insure the business will go up considerably based upon the payout on this claim and the fact that the owner was completely at fault. That combination will likely force him out of the existing location into a smaller location and he will probably lose half or more of his work force.

Top notch attitude/composure Ccapx!
They were both in their shop clothes in that picture. Early February I dropped my turbo wheels off to have new Michelin PS2s mounted, and the "kid" had the same clothes on loading them in the back of my civic. I specifically remember it since its quite unique

Was there plastic over the seats?
