Apologies - lost internet and simplified my post.
Anyway - look at the ring 918 video in the passenger seat there is a stack of Panasonic computers.
I really have no interest in the 918 run - but if people are going to call Lambo out for a bs run it's only fair to call bs on every factory the does a closed track run to the public and press. Anyone recall what Mclaren stated they could run at the ring with their P1.

They were there for a reason - stack of flying objects is not a great idea so they must have felt the need to have them. They could have been sending data - power to the systems who knows and anyone who does isn't chirping.

The price and the budget Lamborghini vs Porsche - c'mon. The SV is 1/3 the price of a 918 today. You telling me there is a 918 owner who could run his at the ring under 7 minutes - no way!
All these numbers are great Cars and Coffee forums stories - so for 918 guys and enthusiasts to start this bs about fake times is just poor sportsmanship because I and others could say the same about the 918 that had a STACK of computers on the passenger seat.
I guarantee you Porsches sister company built a faster car ... that's a fact and it will get faster. The 918 is just old news let's move on the 918 section has plenty of room to post.

The price of the cars and how good drivers the owners are is also irrelevant to which car is faster.
As for the Performante, I really hope it's a legit time. I actually love pretty much everything that Lamborghini has done, ever. So I'm not on some witch hunt here, I just find it very strange that the SV is so much slower than the 918 on every single track except the Ring.
