For those that like DSC controllers or similar systems - you have to see it in times to know if it gives you a better result.
In my experience to out do Porsche you have to really go to something like KW racing set ups and even then you have to know how to set the car up from the ground up which means understanding the geometries of the vehicle, positioning of control arms, how its aero performs and other aspects such as brake bias - let alone the range of uses and tracks.
The only example I can give where I have recently come up against a fully prepped RS with full tractive suspension replacement went as follows ~ 6s, 3s, 2s, and 4s difference per stage (where stages ranged between 3.5km and 6.6km unfortunately the other RS never made it to the other 20 or so stages). The point being is, my RS is very vanilla, uses stock suspension and outside of that (excluding mandatory safety stuff e.g. roll cages, comms, fire) the only changes are brake pads and modest changes to camber. The time differences were in my favour.
I have been up to 270kmh in my car on some pretty nasty narrow closed roads - and its stays glued. If I did a lot of circuit competitions (which I no longer do - other than for set up, sprints and mandatory log book hours). I would swap out the suspension with something with multiway adjustment from KW racing with oil reservoirs and probably run spring rates around 220Nm/mm front and 240Nm/mm rear - not sure about the ARBs and would likely get rid of RAS.
As an aside (found a note to self in a file), for those interested in weight saving; the alcantara headliner weights 2.25kg, the fittings, sunvisors and central light cluster weigh a further 1.5kgs. Total weight saving of 3.75kgs and the inside of the roof is painted matte black.
Given the weight difference between the carbon fibre roof and the magnesium roof is 500g it seems incongruous that the liner and all its bits blow that saving to pieces.
PS the wood on tires comment is spot on - the 720S is very, very supple on road - I found this to be a compelling difference between the 488GTB and 720S - the former just felt soft in the rear when you got on the noise pedal.

What??? No, that sounds terrible. Jiggly or rough suspension is never desirable. The point is to have suspension which adapts to the road surface and driving conditions the most. Most competent road and track cars you'll be in like a corvette or a Ferrari with infinitely fast adjusting magnetorheological suspensions or a McLaren with their trick system are like magic carpet rides... amazing on road and track.
The DSC tries to take the somewhat comparatively pedestrian Gt3 suspension and maximize its range so that its more comfortable on the road AND more competent on track.
Discomfort has never meant performance, it's meant unfortunate compromise. DSC helps with this.

I do find this DSC Module to be very intersting but I find the .2 GT3 suspension for street driving to be perfect.

Yes - considerably so. The GT3 is a marshmallow. The .2 RS has has helpers all round plus the main springs are 55 Nm/mm stiffer at the front and 40 Nm/mm stiffer at the rear. These are large differences and the GT3 is very much a road car.

But you'll have to go into the menu to lower the lift, UNLESS you do it while it's still going up. So I don't raise the lift until I'm fairly close to my driveway ramp, then raise the lift and while it's on its way up, I drive up and as soon as I clear the steepest point, I press the stalk down to lower it. BTW when I see my wife park the car w/ the lift up, I go crazy.

I don't mind the RS' stiffness but the roads around here aren't that bad, and yes it bounces a little but never skipped on me, unlike my '08 Viper ACR which would launch me off of my seat and make my head hit the headliner at times.

I almost pulled the trigger on the 600LT but the rear view mirror of that car shoke like crazy, even when the car was just idling and the SA told me all the 600LT are like that. What's your ownership experience?

My rear view mirror doesn't shake much at idle, and not too bad while driving, but the side mirrors are pretty much useless when driving. If there was a mod to fix that it would be nice.
