got to drive the SO's 570 Spider some more the other day to get some touch up done on the PPF install.
had a few areas on the roof where the film had popped up a bit, so the Myko guys sorted that out.

the feel of the car is much different from my 997.2 GT3, but have to say i really like how the car drives.
suspension does a great job of feeling both firm and supple. even in sport mode it is "better behaved" than the GT3.
far more quiet inside when tooling around (even with the MSO Ti exhaust), so the Bowers & Wilkins stereo is a nice option.
though when you're on boost, man, the car really takes off and does create a pretty nice sound on its own.

in my limited driving time, have only found a few things i don't fully like about the car.
it attracts more attention than i'm used to / like, though i guess a bright orange McLaren is going to do that.
the car upshifts way earlier than i'd like it to when in auto mode. makes the perceived lag feel worse.
track mode helps, but find myself mostly going manual and keeping the revs up a bit to solve both the early upshift and "lag".
and the chassis makes some strange creaks and noises that i've been told are normal, but that i still don't like.

personally, i prefer the less refined, louder, more immediate feel of the GT3, but look forward to getting more time in the 570.

got email from mac about new car intro on jan 16th. looks like will be 750lt. that is going to be an epic car. cant see who would want hideous senna when new lt will be almost as fast, cost less than 1/2, and be gorgeous to boot?

600LT spider. 750 or whatever it will be called still a couple years away.

LT version of 720S will have epic performance. But if Senna is "Hideous", I can't see LT being "Gorgeous"

I agree next new Mac will be 600LT Spider...

oh 600lt spider makes more sense.
btw, I think 720 is a beauty and senna is horrible so unless they totally screw up the 750lt it should be a real winner style wise

We shall see. I’m on the list for one whenever it comes out. Nice to be able to ask for an allocation and get one without playing the Porsche game.

There is zero stiffness loss- the carbon tub on a mclaren has zero structural rigidity difference and zero stiffness added as the roof is an appliqué
