I should be getting my order locked in early next month. I'm predicting a February delivery. The urge to spec the huge carbon front splitter and diffuser is strong...but not sure if it's worth the $11K.

Will most likely be going with Vega Blue.

Not to mention the extra repair cost if something happens to it haha. The stock pieces are still CF, so if you're not sold, put the money into an option like the fenders that actually changes the look IMHO. That's what I did anyways.

It is worth it.

Vega is Mega.

Good choice.

McLaren only makes "super performance" cars and unlike Aston, Ferrari or Lamborghini they do not make 4 seater vehicles or SUVs to lessen the insurance risk. Four seat vehicles are even less likely to get tracked so the internal warranty cost risk goes down a lot. Surely with the way more McLaren's are driven (more like a GT3 type buyer) they see more track use vs Ferrari or Lambo or Aston.

I'll research the warranty more. Personally, I won't be tracking my P1 much if at all ever again after driving the Senna on track. And if I was ordering a 600LT I would definitely be tracking that instead of the P1 also.

I know "they all look the same" but the Sports Series (570) and Super Series (720) and Ultimate Series (Senna, P1) are different model lines and yes they stagger the product cycle.

570 Spider in 2017 $240k
720 in 2017 $340k
Senna in 2018 $1M+
600LT in 2018 $300k
720 Spider in 2019 $365k ?
Still senna, GTR 2019
Speedtail 2019/20 $2M

Lambo does a Performante (v10) 300k
Lambo does an SV (v12) 500k
Urus 200k

This is partly the reason. On continental europe GT3s are very difficult to sell used unless heavily discounted..Due to the weak pound after the Brexit vote a new GT3/RS is cheaper to buy in the UK than pretty much anywhere in the world, roughly £30K cheaper than Europe. This props up used values although the 'overs' have subdued somewhat in the last few months.

Saw a Senna at the dealer here. All black with crushed diamonds in paint (because why not...?) supposedly a $75k option. Have to say it looks utterly incredible in person.

Not sure if anyone else saw...but Chris Harris just said he'd take one over the Senna on one of his media postings...not saying it's better by ANY means but damn!
