nope. I don’t even take the lift all the way up. I bought some padding from Amazon and lined the underside of the lift where the doors would hit. I open the door slowly and let it rest up on the padding. Zero issues. I was concerned it wouldn’t work and would throw my whole parking situation out of whack. But turned out ok.

Look at all those body panel gaps.
There's a PPF installer overseas that I can point you to that'll confirm what I'm seeing.

Any 991.2 GT3 owners also own a McLaren?
Been considering checking out the 570S. I have an 18' GT3, love it, just thinking about a change. Anyone with experience? Thanks in advance.

in order to compete sonically- you're going to have to get a full exhaust system. the NA engine in the GT3 is really spectacular. The 570S chassis has a lot better ride quality and steering feel although due to the GT3 having a lot better tire sizes and rear steering, the GT3 will feel like it has more grip in most cases. In order to get the maximum fun out of the 570S you really have to drive with ESC in dynamic mode or disabled completely as it's really intrusive.

Place for both in my garage. About 2200 miles on my 570S so far. Will need new tires soon.

In many ways the Porsche is like a rolex...timeless, beautiful, exceptional quality, but also can function as a "tool". The Mclaren is more of a Patek, a bit less rugged, less practical...and if you get a bad one, you will have a busy ownership experience.
One example: a GT3 has tire sizes optimized for effectiveness. Proper balance, and also excellent lap-times and so forth. Engineers wanted a track tool that is well balanced with good 'feel'...Conversely, The Mclaren has purposely UNDERSIZED tires. Numbers were not the goal. They want you to feel the experience first and foremost. That being said, These are very, very different philosophies. As one poster mentioned, 'there is room in my garage for both". Very true.
BTW, I daily drive my 570S. Ride, comfort, quietness, stereo, etc...all great. Just get used to "return to Mclaren Service Center" warning on dashboard!
I purposely got the 570 while I was waiting on the GT3. I don't regret it at all. I have the GT3 coming in soon, and the 570 is going away (sadly). The biggest issue was the constant small glitches in the Mclaren.

McLaren is all tech all the time. Lots of annoying glitches with the infotainment system (e.g., laggy) but everything else is superb. Very comfortable for daily driving use.
