I suggested the seller take that offer immediately. The comment was deleted. Did I cross a line?
my fave is "hey its just an asking price"

Same people will complain if you offer them a car for sale that it's too high and then turn around and try to sell another one at 2X premium.

Back on topic-

I have been selling and sourcing RS cars and even had Porsche dealers brag to me via text that they just charged some guy XYZ for an allocation. And wonder why I'm not happy for them- well that same guy is obviously not selling anything at msrp to me or anyone else.

I think that msrp is also slightly irrelevant - there are two price ranges for the cars effectively:

Approx 235k, (including adjustment) for stripper car

Approx 275k and up, loaded or PTS

If your dealer is handing out msrp builds now, good for you. I'd personally take another one and bury it in my warehouse, drain all the fluids and forget I have it. Or immediately use it as a bargaining chip to trade for 993 RS, 356 speedster, etc

C.J. I see you now have the Speciale listed under Italian. How do you like it? Any pics or stories about it?

+1 - though I would get one to drive given I already have one sitting undriven at 10 miles. I know 4 other people that would do the same so I think there is a very solid price floor.

Manual redline for the 3.8 will be 8.8k, PDK will still be 9k.

Have you decided to not drive the green one?
I'm curious

Been a bad car year in terms of time to drive, so I sent it straight to storage. It will stay there at least another 3 or 4 months and then I may drive it.

Then it's almost winter, ready to store it again. I'm sure you can find someone to drive it for you.

However I wouldn't be surprised if they slow down ROW production and increase US production in the final few months.

I just bought 1 for $44k over sticker. Did a solid amount of research on eBay. The sweet spot seemed around $50 over. Could've gotten a silver one for $40 over but I wanted white.
