[QUOTE=shapiroeric;13407393]It could be stopped but only to a certain extent....QUOTE]

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting this but if a dealer can make you sign a right of first refusal then Porsche could also make a buyer sign a similar agreement. That the car goes back to Porsche not the dealer. They could also make you sign an agreement so during the first X number of years of ownership you are not allowed to sell unless you can show financial hardship. Both extreme measures.

A quick fix, announce they are going to triple RS production and that all formerly PTS colors will now be selectable in the configurator as regular upgrade colors (whether they intend to or not).

They have a Wharton grad in the ownership group so maybe he'll be able to make it happen.

Dealers do what everyone else does here when selling their used cars. Charge MARKET PRICE.

How many for sale ads have you seen on used GT's ....

5K Miles ... MSRP + PPF + gas expenses + nano coating + sales tax + valet charges + clear side markers + paint correction + Rennlist membership = ASKING PRICE

Well Mooty ... You seem like stand up old school. Not the norm these days. Which brings up the whole issue here. I'm relatively new school, but the new schoolers are the problem
here. Sure, some are stand up but many are fly by night and want the latest/greatest/hottest/ must have cars. The GT's have fallen into this category with all the easy money out there. Market flying high, interest rates low, and big bonus checks.

Once the easy gravy train dries up, you'll see them drop like flies. Once the easy flip and get your sales tax back tricks end, they'll move onto the latest new girl in town. Whether her name is Lambo, Red Riding Horse, or whatever.

Kind of like those bar flies you see at the dance clubs. Always looking for that easy score. When one goes home with another guy, they're prowling the next best girl.

These threads have gotten so old it's ridiculous already. One side says "charge whatever you want if someone's willing to pay it, **** em". The other side says "MSRP should be MSRP". I agree with the later. When's the last time you went in to buy a six pack of Coke or other consumer item at 50% more than Coke locks the supermarket into selling it for? You'd walk away right? We'd call it price gouging right? Is PCNA ******* the end user? Yuppppp. They are the ones in charge of the franchise agreements, not the dealers. This is why 90% of us here hate dealers and will do anything in our powers to bash and shti talk them all day.

Allow me, a loyal owner the ability to buy a car at a rational price in relation to MSRP and I'll be your lifelong customer, but keep ******* me and I'll keep shti talking...

Back to more important news:

Anyone sighted MARV?? I believe he's in Texas.

Blue GT3 and NO rear plate. Some registration paperwork taped inside the front windshield.
