^^^I agree the bubble is about to burst, there may be dealers that are hoarding and artificially inflating the price, gaming the system, but look at their risk, if they sell one car for 20-50k over, they can sit on the rest for MSRP, its the blatant flippers who paid 20-30k over for another dealers allocation that will lose

In the US, there are numerous Porsche dealers who strictly sell their GT cars at MSRP. It seems this issue of high markups is regional and used to be called the California Hustle for a reason. Unless there is price fixing here, there isn't much to be done. I suppose PCNA could rein it in by penalizing the bad actors with fewer allocations, but they have not chosen to do so.
BINGO...they could limit their GT allocations and stick them with more bloated Turbo S and Panny cars that will only get sold for big discounts to MSRP.

Yup, they are right behind Auto Gallery. Beverly Hills, Carlsen, and North Scottsdale also make the top 5 stealership list. There are good dealers out there but there are a lot of stealers too.

that is what they should do^^^^ Correct me if I'm wrong but don't 918 owners have to hold their cars for lets say 6 months so they can stay on the list to get GT cars? If they flip to soon don't they lose privileges?

It should be the same if the dealer does this like the above poster states because there are some good dealers out there that say its disingenuous to charge more. Those dealers seem to have less allocations.

Are there other products besides cars that you all line up to pay big premiums over list for? I have only experienced this annoyance with cars personally. Very bizarre to me that spending the 200 grand is more difficult in this case than earning it was.

If potential buyers just walked away from the bad deals we wouldn't have this problem. The RS is a awesome unique car but not worth getting screwed and losing your mind over. There are plenty of other cool toys to keep me entertained while waiting for an fair deal to come along. Patience, persistence, and being prepared when the opportunity arrises is key. If the RS opportunity never presents itself I'm sure another opportunity will open that is just as good if not better. It is what it is and what will be will be.

I'm sick and tired of the BS - I expected Porsche to shoot it straight - tell me what the formula is to get these cars, something transparent.

Is this an option for the unlucky or people who didn't play the game with PCNA correctly??
