I waited a few months and the mark up is still high. I see easily 10 of these on the market 200K+ over sticker. Is anyone else buying these things in that price range? I'm on nobodies MVP list so I'm stuck. I'd love to have a Pista but they're going for the same amount! Come on guys help me out. From all the reviews everyone loves the 3RS over the 2RS.

Last week I was invited to meet the owner/publicist of a growing car magazine. I agreed for a meet and greet as the owner/publicist had an interest on my 911R and GT2RS. I thought my impressions on either or both cars would be considered for publication. As the conversation developed I was informed if I am okay to let the owner/publicist and maybe add a professional race driver, to drive my cars (e.g., GT2RS, 911R) so "they" can publish "their" impressions on my either or both my cars. I asked them as an owner wouldn't you want to publish my opinions too in addition to "your" own opinions? The answer was no.

Since they want to use my cars to publish an article, it was natural for me to ask how much are you going to compensate for the "use" of my cars? The answer was "none." I asked why is that? The answer was this to be published it has to be an "unbiased" opinion. Then I asked why then as a publicist did you not avail yourself to test drive the press car for free? The answer was some BS that "they" were not available at the time the car was released by Porsche for the press to test drive. I think it was some type of BS since they are a small publication, needless to say they were not invited by the car manufacturer (Porsche) on the press car to be driven.

I have respects to a select journalist who knows about cars. On the contrary, there are new upstart journalist who couldn't even differentiate a liquid coolant versus distilled water and what they are used for. Be selective should an offer come your way that someone wants to test/borrow your car so "they" can publish "their" opinion about the model and car you own.

Drive safe,

If he comes back, he can drive my touring (he used to travel a lot for cars and maintains a list of cars and where they are). He now does mostly business cars looking for free advertisements, at least for new cars.

I prefer the 2RS over the 3RS. Once you experience the speed on the 2RS the 3RS feels slow

===> so you saw that too LMAO. I trust no one. I just buy the cars and make up my own opinion. and sometimes I don't even trust myself so I had to buy the same car many times.

What we’ve heard so far is four-shaft 8-Speed PDK in 992 GT3 is to make room for hybrid but not until 992.2. Hybrid in GT2 CS seems against the norm - maximize margin - assuming car is a late-cycle 991 derivative.
