Do you know if their going to give you a new set of rubber when the mag wheels come in, or take the tires off the alu?
Curious to see if mine will come with the alu or mag wheels, it suppose to exit production 7/27. It would be cool if the car comes 100%, but I would sure love to have a spare set of wheels and tires at no cost!
Hi!
The word is that you get a complete set of wheels but I don`t know for sure!
Looks like Porsche is having more production problems. Just received word that my GT3RS with Weissach package will be shipped with a painted hood. The exposed carbon hood will be shipped later and I will be able to keep the painted hood.
"Due to a supply shortage, the 911 GT3 RS order(s) listed below will be produced with a painted hood and not the visible carbon fiber hood which is included with the Weissach Package (option 808). This is being done to prevent any delays in the delivery of the vehicle. A replacement visible carbon fiber front hood will be sent to your dealership through warranty in mid-November. The painted hood can be kept by the customer free of charge after receipt of the front hood in visible carbon fiber."

Question, did you get the notification now before you accept delivery, or your GT3RS is now here and this hood issue has been a surprise? The reason I asked is my GT3RS with WP is scheduled to arrive first week of September.

No, car is still at the factory, finishing completion.

Thank you for the heads up. My 3RS should be finishing this week but haven't gotten any information about the hood. So we will see if I get a freebie hood.
GT2RS arrives a week before that.

I haven't got any info on missing parts (mag wheels) either. Looks like I'm four days behind you, mine is leaving port of Emden on 8/14
The demand on these GT cars are so high, lots of cars being delivered with correct missing parts at a later date. Not complaining here as long as the cars arrive in tip-top shape with no quality issues. Nice gesture for PORSCHE to giveaway those temporary parts for free to the affected customers.

I believe mine is coming into Jacksonville, so not sure if its the same boat.
There's a thread I read a little while back which has several links that show shipping schedules and a ship tracker, if I can ever find it again ill post the links up here.
Thank you for the research and info. That is very helpful.
In the past my dealer emails me the link that contains the vessel name. Once that link is sent you can literally track what part of the globe the vessel is in. Adds excitement and relief on the l-o-n-g wait to delivery.
