991 GT2RS

TrakCar...when you SA said..." Given the quantity of 991.2GT3 he has received he said there never has been this much new supply, and he was told they same will happen with the GT2RS." did he mean it that it was more than he's seen before?

All GT3 and GT2RS are 2018 models only and my 2019 slots have now turned into live 2018 slots. This could mean no more cars after November builds as we will probably be seeing an all new 911 sooner than later.

How about GT3RSs?

Sorry, a little off current topic....
So last week I got some great news, I got a allocation for a Sept build.
Normally I can spec all my cars in less than 10 minutes, but for some reason I'm having a issue here. I've gone back and forth about 100 times on whether or not to add the WP. Im having a issue justifying spending 31K to save 30LBS and get a stripe on the hood....or am I missing something?? Porsche is doing a great job of only marketing the car only with the WP, and it seems that everyone says its a must if you get this car, but is it? My car will not be in bubble wrap, it will be on the track 10+ times per year. I'm sure ill see a lot of you at Sebring and RA. I'm going to spec with Bose (heavy *** subwoofer) and install a steal cage, so not concerned about weight. I just think about how many sets of tires and brakes I can buy with 31K. Would love to get some opinions on this...
Thanks guys!

Sounds like you might be in line for one based on the last part of your post, hope that comes true.

From a dealer in Vienna (the smaller of the 2 dealerships)
17 991.2 GT3 Allocations (with Touring)
4 991.2 GT2 RS Allocations
4 991.2 GT3 RS Allocations ?
That's what he told me.... truth?

I will also add cage, belts and other track goodies. I'll probably also look at opening the exhaust a bit, I'll decide that after some miles and options.

As an aside, a year ago I went into local Ford dealer to check out Shelby GT350 sitting on the floor. Dealer had a $15k mark-up on the car and wouldn't even let me sit in it to check helmet clearance. Went in last week to check out a Focus RS and the same GT350 was sitting in the same place with the same mark-up. I just chuckled and walked out.

The black does look incredible, but I think "I'm going the "boring" route. This is where I'm at right now https://www.porsche.com/microsite/porsche-code/usa.aspx PJNLU9C8
