This car really needs some additional colours. What are the chances they add some before builds start?
A nice gunmetal grey for example.
I am still bouncing between a panda and the launch car. Panda is winning at the moment. All white cars I have seen so far have black wheels. I would go white weissach with the gold finish on the wheels.
Is the gold on Panda too much?
Can someone please explain the difference between the standard red and black interior and the upgraded red and black?

I think so.
The wheels have a very feint pink hue that works its way through the gold. Unique coloring? yes, of course. But, a coloring that doesn't match up well with the exterior colors they offer. Except for the light grey. Which may be why that color showed up on the car at Frankfort.

Yeah, I started out thinking I'd do weissach, but given it's weissach-light in US and I don't like the color scheme much, and it ain't cheap, I'll prob skip it IF I'm lucky enough to get an allocation.

They stole that wheel design from the BMW E9X M3 with the Competition Package option. Loved it; and, not too bad to clean, either.
I like the Weissach wheel design, for sure. However, the color conveys a kind of daintiness that I would associate more with, say, a ballerina shoe's. Rather than with "King Kong's" shoes.
I wish they would allow a color option for them.
Oh, I forgot. I have to get an allocation before I need to care.

In terms of the interior options, there are 3 options that involve red:
- The "base" interior's main differentiator compared to all of the other Leather Interior options is that there's a lot more plastic that would be leather/Alcantara on the other options. The following sections are plastic with this option but leather in the others: dashboard upper section including instrument shroud, upper section of door panels (where the window is), center console side sections, and rear side panels (not sure what this is). Additionally, the lower half of the dash (where the glovebox is, and the corresponding area on the driver's side) and the main portion of the door panels are plastic in this interior, whereas they would be Alcantara in the others. Finally, the dash trim does NOT carry over to the door panels with this option, whereas it does with the other options.
- If you only want to get the items I just listed in leather/Alcantara and add the trim to the doors, but NOT change the color scheme of the interior, you want the "Leather Interior with Alcantara / Seats Leather" option. Note that despite the "Seats Leather" name, the configurator images and the option description clearly indicate that the seats still have Alcantara centers. The seat sides are leather, but that's true of every interior, even the base. The naming on this option appears to be an error, which is not at all unusual on Porsche configurators, unfortunately.
- The third option is "Leather/Alcantara Interior Package in Black with Red Stitching", which removes all red from the interior except for the stitching and seat belts.
