They have been testing the car at the ring for months. Surely there is already a time?

I do... in the U.K.

Expected delivery March 2018 with weissach

I don't know if this is an early delivery or not. Would be good to know.

March!? Wow that's long but then again we don't know when the build is going to start. I don't really care. I have to have it. The next one probably will be out in 7-10 years. I can't take this chance

Considering the Weissach pack is delayed until February, I think a March delivery is the best one could hope for.

I thought AP said in one of the videos that they wouldn't post an unrealistic time (no cheater tires, weight, tune) so it sounded like they wouldn't beat the Lambo's time.

FINALLY someone else agrees with me on this...I keep bringing it up but no one cares apparently. It's a disgrace. You can't price yourself with Ferarri and give a Toyota interior.

It's gone from the new Panamera so should be gone from the 992.

The only thing I'm interested in is the black interior and satin black wheels. Mine will be bare bone. If it can beat the performante awesome. If not, I'm sure it won't be far off.

Any US dealer will take the deposit now. They already have their demo car coming in a few weeks.

Production does not begin until week 5 of 2018 (dealers have this info), his timing makes perfect sense.

You can order a Performante now and have it before the end of summer...car is pretty sweet...I'm just not a lambo guy...but that one has gotten my attention at least...to even find out when I could get it...

Looks like I was at least a few seconds conservative with my previous assessment. Actual improvement over the 991.2 GT3 is 126 hp per ton with the Weissach package, which would work out to a ~22 second improvement over that car's time (+/- ~5) depending. So the bogie based on power and weight would be ~6:50 even (assumes enough grip to use the power). Add a bit more aero, etc... 6:45? Any guesses?

Previous analysis from a couple months ago before we knew specs:

Extrapolating from the 7:12 that suggests 700 hp and great rubber should get you to 6:51 or thereabouts. The Huracan Peformante's time is 6:52.01...

This should be interesting. Any bets?

Not a lambo guy either but it is an appealing alternative given the 2 RS allocation uncertainty.
