Maybe it is an industrial vacuum cleaner?

Yes how did this happen? I expected the passenger side filter to look like it did but the only time I have seen anything look like the right side filter was after someone visited a gravel trap.

That's awesome. Let's see pics of the drivers side fenders, has to be pretty peppery!

New setup numbers for 19" setup.
Measurements all made with OEM MPSC2 20" and 21".
We will make changes at the track but I wanted a solid base line with all numbers verified and the car as low as it can be driven on the street with 20-21" and without the splitter hitting the track surface under hard braking:
This is what we will start with for now and we will re-measure with 19" to record changes.
Added adjustable caster pucks to the front to make sure we can achieve optimum numbers as we start playing around.

These are the recommended ride height numbers from Porsche and the measuring points:

So we dropped the car about 15mm front and 10mm rear. But the car droppes A LOT more on 19" wheels.
So going to the Forgelines does not only allow the faster Hoosier R7 but it makes the car a lot flatter, a lot lower still.
Because there is so much room in the front wheel well now the rake can be lot more resulting in finally killing the on throttle, corner exit understeer.
Starting testing with this setup, bars stiff all around and max wing + diffuser + Gurney flap and of course the front grills are removed from the front fender louvres.

Id they wouldn't have mailed me a photo, I wouldn't know what they look like, so here is the photo of the adjustable caster pucks:

Those look like stock pucks.

Why are they adding more caster?

Those are the stock pucks coming out before the adjustable RSS? Arrived.

Because we went from oem 9.8 to 10.4 and we want to play around with the car on 19" we wanted to be sure we keep the ideal caster.

I just read read this thread from the start and have a couple questions (for starters):

1. How much are you adjusting the rear wing between different tracks? What is the "factory setting" for the wing?

2. Regarding the July 5, 2016 Technical bulletin "Wheel Clearance for Race Track Use," were some cars shipped with some of the modifications already made? If so, after what build date? (My RS build was 5/16.) What do the rolled vs non-rolled rear fenders look like?

Thanks!

1. I tried adjusting it but for my driving ability more wing is more better. Except at Daytona when the car just wouldn't go LOL.
2. Its a "race track setup" document only to be done for track use (Right, what else is an RS for) so perhaps they started rolling the real forward edge a little higher, but I didn't.
AFAIK those modifications were never done to the RS and you should do yourself when you go to the track. And really that document is just a cover Porsches *** document to prevent rubbing and related liabilities.

I'm going to Laguna Seca in a couple weeks so I will probably start with max wing...expecting lots of wind noise.

I'll confirm ride height and will start with stock cambers etc before undertaking the tuning you all have. Re rolling, my rear fenders look semi-rolled so I didn't know if the factory changes what they were doing. I would like to avoid rubbing though. I will work through the document and do the obvious things like removing the front fender screens. How important is the reworking of the RWD wiring harness?

The car wont run with setup like in the document. it will smear some black on the left rear wheel well, on the forward part but that's it.
Camber -2 with that setup on MPSC2. I took those fender screens out long ago, they are useless.

I put about 6000 track miles on it that way, no rubbing after replacing the fender liners initially with the ones with dimples in them. This were probably the same part# just reworked with a heat gun.
RWD harness was fine.
