Went to Sebring today.

-2.5F and 2.3R camber
Went to full stif front bar, rear already stiff.
Zero toe front -1.5ea mm rear.

Did not help with rear grip but overall more stable.
Not sure what's faster but now I am sure I can still run less camber.
I will try -2 all around.

I went out of 25 PSI cold tires. It's 92F here today and the first couple of laps I had crazy grip. Either cold tires or the equivalent of running less camber due to The tires leaning more on the outside or both.

Tires wearing fine outside.

Best car I have had so far and I bet I did 2:16 or 17 but Harry decided not to record again. ****.

What did TPMS say during the "crazy grip" part of your session???

Why are you running less camber? Were you getting inside tire wear because of too many street miles?

Interesting. -2.0 is getting very close to -1.7 stock.

Ha ha. Mine came from the factory pretty dead on the numbers Joe731 noted in post #46; -1.7 all around.

Based on my days out with front bar med and full stiff, I don't think one is faster but I liked the weight transfer on the nose better and it gave me more confidence.

4 last laps with the latest setup.
I again pushed hard out the gate with 25 PSI but the grip wasn't there like the session before when the tires had 2 hours to cool down.
I was pushing and over driving, the car moves around a bit more than my hands would indicate and this is very busy hands for my style.

The setup is good I think. My apologies for the crap sound, I have the mike under the carpet but its my I phone I think.

The Porsche book says -1.3.
We know that the most grip is on the outer edge of the MPSC2.
So, it could be that due to low PSI the tires gripped better because they roll over more.
I don't recommend low pressures like that but the tires did not scuff the walls.
The inside of the tires look like new, but they did that with -3 Camber as well, so the inner compound just doesn't wear.

Could also be the the tires just give up with height temps.

Could also be that a little less camber uses less of the hard inner compound and more of the outer compound.

A hero lap would need to be cold track temps and a litttle less camber on cold (ish) tires that are 28-30 out off the gate and bleed them down when PSI goes too high and lap times start dropping anyway due to over heating he tires. After 6 laps even the grip noticeably under braking, so you have to back up even more to compensate for less grip.

Really pissed I don't have the laps on cold tires.

I need new front pads anyway to spare the rotors and calipers so let's try -2 camber all around and fingers crossed for a cold day.

And I get my VBOX installed for real data and some coaching/analyzing data.

Just thinking aloud and hoping you see it in the video, so give me your thoughts and suggestions. Or tell me my driving blows. I'm getting old and used to be really fast ;-)

My goal for a cool winter day is 2:15 no mods.
Than coach, then tinker with car.
