Martin, see the pdf of the pages posted earlier in this thread that show the steps Porsche recommends to avoid rubbing. Includes fender rolling and relocating some pieces to mitigate rubbing under braking.

Got it...my RS was a May build so I think the fenders were rolled but I'll check before it hits the track. Waiting to get my 2,000 miles in and then off to BBI for some suspension bits, rollbar, harness, and alignment/corner balance.

Anyone get stiffer springs on their RS yet? Gotta ask around if a similar swift spring set is out like there is for the GT4.

Are you putting slicks on the car? (ergo stiffer springs)

^^
Toe, per side or total?
Wing, dropped the front?

Did you remove the front grilles to balance it out (maybe)?

Toe: Per side
Wing: Not sure how it was done. Can check it next time I see car.

Grilles removed - but htat was already suggested in the Service Action from PAG.

How much dirt does that throw onto the car?

Kobalt, thanks. F ride height looks pretty low relative to the revised Porsche alignment targets (112mm IIRC). Did you raise or lower that? Any rubbing?

For reference my 4x4 setup from the factory had 120mm F height.

(PAG: 115 +/- 2mm)

They lowered it in the rear so the outcome of it is that the spoiler sits much higher in the front then before setup.

I took some measurements from ground to front lip and the equivalent in the rear before the setup but haven't had time to do the same after the setup.

Rubbing: Too few laps to know for sure. Need to put some tape on the touching places to be sure.

If I havn't mentioned it in this thread: The service action from PAG including the fender rolling did not help the left rear rubbing in my case. It still touched the rear fender inside so Manthey rolled the fenders more.

I'm pretty p*ss*d on Porsche because now I have wasted two setups of rear tires.

^ Thanks, meant 112, sorry. My April build was factory rolled. Started mid fender so top 180 deg are rolled. I'd be angry as well if I'd blown those tires.

Anyone have experience with BBi's stiffer spring package for the RS?

^^

+1 I've seen quite a few installation threads but not much driver feed back regarding on track improvement or any negatives.

Actual lap time improvement?

You had me at welcome to drive

Best time with coach in summer was 2:23. Chris Hall, he couldn't go faster either.
Best lap ever was 2:198 mostly oem and 2:189 with plenty cheater parts
Best lap on 30F morning in improved 4.0 2:174 (5 of them)and it was a good lap.
Half assed lap in cool weather Mr Purple bone stock 2:164 (5 of them) and I am sure it's a 2:15 car if I learn to hold back a bit and trust the car more.

Today my estimate is I did a 2:18/19 when I was hounded by a very well driven, faster in corners and on the straight Corvette.. It was a blast but I cooked my tires and had to let him go once he passed me. And it didn't even leak! And great driver and nice guy.

So, bone stock oem tires this car is stupid fast and wore me out today. I'm not exact built like a gazelle.
I could still buy light weight BBS, battery, side muffler delete, faster tires.

But I like the 100% warranty covered 100% stock car.
I spend an hour on the phone cruising home 90-100 ish in AC, nav, XM radio being comfy.
Track prep: put Hans and Helmet in car.

I love this thing.
awesome! we have a PBIR event 11/19 if you are interested.
