I think it's a LOT more than that at retail prices.

Pure guess, opinion of 1 - I'd say $200K.

I'd expect the secondary market will be Very private and very expensive, and you don't get possession of the car for a long time. Any buyer caught flipping will be burning some bridges.

Agreed, but I don't think Ford will be able to inflict as much pain on those apostates who sell the car on as would other manufacturers of high end, sought after cars.

What are they gonna do, say that you can't get the next Ford GT that they might build over a decade from now?

there is a guy here who has already sent 2 cars to the middle east(not gt's), and stands to be selected based on his publicity with his GTs....I think the premium he was offered from his mid east buyer....1MM.

Ford GT is essentially a purpose built race car vs the others running converted street cars. I'd expect nothing less. Kudos to Ford for finding a way into the event and for the win.

I expect much of the first 150 will go to execs, celebs and the "connected".

Not many bleed blue more than me and have been as loyal active Ford/SVT customer over the years....but I'm not a celeb, not a Ford exec and don't have connections to Ford.

So we will see if their claim of getting these cars to loyal Ford customers is bs or whether it's another case of who you know and who you are.

Not holding my breath. Even if chosen I don't know what restrictions will be placed on resale. They may be reasonable or they may have me saying "keep it"and walking out the door.

I applied, really want one, most likely won't get an allocation.

Haven't heard anything
