applied... my only hope is that it's easier in Canada. I'm sure I have less than zero chance.

OT: In the Merlins garage - those are carpet tiles on the floor! Never seen that before. How well does that work? Any issue with oil stains - I know with carpet tiles, you can just replace a few tiles at a time.

laranja,

Yes 24x24 carpet tiles on concrete floor. Commercial grade. Very durable. And yes pull one up and replace with another if there is an issue.

Have a good friend with a nice car collection and a 06 GT. He doesn't drive his cars and is unlikely to get a new GT because of that.

Applied, as well.

Skipped the silly video request, though, but included social media links. I'm not doing a
.

Ironically, someone with 12 Ford GT's might not actually fit the requirements well enough. They want someone who will drive the 2017 Ford GT to promote the brand. Folks I know who have 5+ Ford GT's never drive them.

Yep, Ford really made it clear that they want these cars on the road and track. Not sitting collecting dust.

Sorry if it's already been mentioned but that one crass youtube car show guy (Solomondrin?) in LA was saying another criteria Ford will consider is how big of a social media presence you have - youtube, instagram, twitter, rennlist (?) etc. I don't doubt it either.

Somebody has to get allocated the car!

Social media links are specific questions on the application. Jay Leno will get one. I think the perfect demographic is the person who buys fleet Fords, has some racing background, collects cars and Fords and shows them. In Dallas I'd say Sam Pack for example. I applied for the hell of it but don't think I make a big enough splash in deep enough water to even make the first cut.

I own a construction company and have ALL Fords, I am hoping some loyalty pays off. I also own a highly modified Ford Raptor that I have nearly $250K in. Everything I own is used for what it is built for. I've owned my GT3 for a month and it's been to three track days so far. I would absolutely drive the car. Since I am the eternal optimist, I am hopeful that my humble approach to Ford will bear some fruit. Hopefully they give a working class guy like me an opportunity to own such an incredible car. I only own about 20 Fords in my fleet, but I've only been in business 11 years, so I am crossing my fingers. Good luck to anyone who has applied, will certainly be a dream come true!
