I applied also - would say approx 0 chance of getting one.

As for markup - I would guess they trade $1-$1.5 mil on the 2ndary market

+1 - I need to stop playing with the configuration tool as I'm sure it just won't happen. A good friend of mine has a real shot so the best I can hope for is to drive his.

Let me put some 305 R compounds on my Boss 302 and I'll fill the rear view mirrors of a 350R all day long and maybe even let him see me in his mirrors..

What about a set of RC's on the GT350R ? Keep on dreaming...

I'm talking equal tires. Tire difference is the biggest delta maker. Put a set of headers on the Boss gap just about closed.

The Boss has ALOT less downforce than a 350R, and even with 305 PSC2s, the SRA will not allow it to roll the same mid corner speed as the GT350, especially in higher speed corners. It'll still be a good amount slower. Keep in mind a 2015GTPP is faster than a Boss 302.

Oh well. It's ok. Truthfully, I would've been sadder if I wasn't able to get a 991.1 GT3 RS + 981 GT4, rather than the new Ford GT.

I would've been a conquest customer, rather than a loyal Ford owner (I have never actually purchased a single Ford car, except an ancient SUV when I was a wee lad). I suspect they're leaving very few (if any) allocations for conquest customers. I was very clear about it in my application, so I wasn't trying to fake it, or hide anything.
