I know this thread is more about GT3 RS pricing on eBay, but I've listed my GT3 on eBay recently for anyone interested... Hard to understand how an RS could really be worth over a $100K more than this....

Talk about hard to understand ..

Didn't you just buy this like 3 weeks ago??? Why on earth are you selling?

What a difference stickers make since it was selling at the BMW dealer for $8K under MSRP or more?

Now $23K over MSRP for a 2014 with 6K miles?

Getting a GT4. Want the manual transmission. As for price of GT3, let the buyer decide, but it's a great looking car with excellent options and is newly CPO. It's priced comparably to others in my region.

What's crazier—and which was my point in the post—is that people are paying $100K or more over sticker for a GT3 RS, and not everyone agrees the 991 GT3 RS is so much better of a car vs. regular GT3 (lower red line, some concerns about handling at limit, etc.). There's no argument from me that in the hands of a pro driver, GT3 RS is faster around a track, and certainly its looks are even more outlandish.

Seems likely from what I've read that Porsche will always make another faster RS in future. What's unique about 991 GT3 is 9k redline, something the current RS doesn't have and something it's looking like Porsche may not repeat. Maybe the GT3—and maybe not the RS—will be the one that, years from now, will be the one enthusiasts seek. Who knows. Suppose this is why we all read these forums.

My poor poor old gt3. Passed around like a joint at a grateful dead show. I hope she finds a home. Do you honestly think as a private seller you will get 176k for it?

I think this thread has given everyone a contact high. Sooner or later the smoke will clear and all that will be left is a case of the munchies.

If it's got your name in the chain of title, it should sell at $50 over...

Just find it hilarious to comment on the crazy price of RS and then post a for sale thread asking $25k over for a used gt3. Comical. GLWS.

Fully configurable car in another thread today. Is a premium but not as bad as these ebay cars. Have at it.

I can forward the contact to anyone who is interested. I'm making no $ on this by the way.

Just seen a 2014 GT3 at a Porsche dealer that was listed about 12,000 below the MSRP.
